And I fricked your mom last night

Man, settle down. My mother is dead by the way. In fact, she passed away this past year. That's not an image I care to think about.

Look man. I know what you're getting at. And when I played QB for LSU it was some of the funnest times ever. But even I had trouble getting excited about playing no name teams. It's just almost impossible. That's why I would simulate those games and focus on recruiting. But Finally a friend showed me how to change the schedule to where I could play legit teams every week. Now I get pumped. Going for my third heisman AND national championship in a row.

But it is tough to get up for scrub games. Trust me.

I completely agree because that is what I said in my original post.

I just clicked on "Request Admin Review" for this insensitive remark. I checked "inappropriate remark/flame/personal attack".

You would be wrong then.

You can't fake hyped up.. and it's simply not the same.

If you're speaking in general about non professional pick up games or little league sure.
If you saw the sideline of the Tigers at any point last weekend, you would have not even thought about posting this. They looked they gave two shits about being on the field that night and it showed.

Hyped for every game? For the most part yes. Focused for every game? No, not the same level of focus all week for the scrub games. I would argue that part of the gameplan for UF was put in the week of the Towson game. No way the focus for that game was equal to what it will be Saturday.

Now having said that, I'm still a bit bothered bc I have no excuse for the lack of production against auburn. I imagine this game will be a similar battle. Hope the tigers can pull it off.

Actually you took that the wrong way and I apologize if you did. When people make such inflamatory remarks as you have made I do check to see if this is a pattern. I saw where you lost your job. In my mind I figured you were upset becuase you lost your job. I believe my remark was something like "sorry about your job". If my intentions were to flame wouldn't I have said something like "can't keep a job" or something derogatory.

Anyway, let's call a truce. This whole thread has gotten way out of hand and the only argument I have been trying to make is that I can't remember not trying hard against every opponent I played against, whether that was against people we were blowing off the field or when we were losing late in the championship game I played in.

It's one thing to "Want" to go out and dominate every game.. but it's realistic to simply not be as amped.. especially looking again to a much larger challenge.

People can say all they want 1 game at a time, but when you truly know you can't lose.. For the most part your focus is on that prize ahead..

LSU did still win 38-22 right?

Think about this.

This schedule this season had one extra cupcake more than the norm of late.. this team is still young and lacking experienced players..

The youngins are leaning on a lot of emotion.. especially having yet to play this extra meh game.. You know they were somewhat concerned what happened in Auburn and they know they had another road game coming up against Florida. It's simple nature.

This is still an incredibly talented team and this D line is flat out beast.

Sounds good! Again, sorry about your mom. I don't wish that on anyone and that was in poor taste of me.

You are definitely a low class piece of shite. Either you are in junior high or a freshman in high school, because a grown man would never mock a person who went through a terrible tragedy as having their mother pass away. BTW, is your mom still alive? If she is, just wait until she passes away. How would you like it if someone told you that they had intercourse with your dead mom? You, sir, give the word scum a new definition.

Were you playing at any level higher than 2-3A? Think about this analogy, you're playing chess vs a retard (I'm talking helmet retard not Rainman retard). You are going to win. There is no doubt that you're better at all facets of the game. Now think that you have to do this once a week for one month. Will you be on your best possible game vs this poor drooling bastard? NO!

You have no point of reference, thus no veridical knowledge regarding the subject. Thus your argument is poorly formed.

Agreed. It is more focus than anything else. And that is not only athletes but coaches as well. We could always tell when we were playing somebody good, you couldn't shove up a BB up the coaches arse. Playing somebody not good, yea they preached the focus thing but you could always tell they weren't either.
