eleshoe last night you called me out and called me a liar because I said they would not win an sec game I stand by my statement. Look who ala has signed in the 2011 class. I dont realy beleave the kid from country day was being recruited by any big school. His competition was saint martins. He did not excel against 5a competition
he was ok. should not have been given a scoly.

Basketball is extremly compettitive you cannot imagine I new a point gaurd that got mvp in the 5a state ch game and no bskt scolly offer.

we are not recruiting top 30 atheletes

obviously tj never saw him play against 5a competition

We will win an SEC game. I'm thinking 5-8 of them. Teams have really bad games sometimes, and this was one of them. Do not give up hope, and support this team.

that guy's a dip shite and doesn't know dick about basketball recruiting. He claims to have AAU connections but he probably couldn't tell you what a travel is.

I was there tonight. Two complaints:

1) Give Garrett Green more PT. I know he was in foul trouble tonight, but so was every big man (particularly in the first half). Definitely stood out to me as the guy that wanted it the most and gave our team a better chance to excel out of all of our big men. Just give him some more minutes.

2) There was a pretty long stretch where Derenbecker was being guarded by someone like half a foot shorter than him. Uhh...can we take advantage of the mismatch and make Derenbecker post up until they make an adjustment. Maybe that's not the strong point of his game, but my word it seemed like a glaring advantage that he didn't take and the coaches didn't correct. Instead he'd post for a few seconds then just chill out around the perimeter and occasionally make a terrible attempt to drive.

May have just been me. I've only watched two games and I went to both of them so I don't really have a lot to judge by.

gave up baseball after da tenth grade. Sorry for being rough on you but I think you're very misinformed with current basketball recruiting and the national landscape. you seem to be a guy who wants what's best for LSU but you're so far off base with immediate results and star gazing at prospects that its comes off as not knowing anything. You should really read up on some of these guys and see their offers and try going to a game. I think Stringer and Turner will really impress you.

its all good. but seriously, look objectively at Turner and Stringer at least (even if not Derenbecker) and you'll be surprised at what you see man. Both of these guys can play. Remember, Marcus Thornton and Darrel Mitchell weren't heavily recruited guys either...

This team will get better. But, they aren't playing very well as a TEAM right now. Our guards are having trouble with dribble penetration and our bigs are having trouble with help D.
On nights where our guards are shooting well, this team will win some games. When they don't, we'll get skull drug.
We still have a ways to go.
Look at last night. Did Dotson even score? Turner was held to less than 10 and didn't shoot well. Stringer was in foul trouble and had trouble staying in front of a quicker White.
Derenbecker will get better, he's just slow right now.

Remember this is a young team. That doesn't mean they can't be good. But, right now like I said their struggling with playing Team basketball.

Still you can't defend what we saw last night.
