Lol at you people thinking miles will air it out on the road at night with drunk hillbillies on national tv. We will keep the ball as long as possible.

i love how we just run it down teams throats when they know its coming any way it speaks volumes about our o line and we most certainly can do this to alabama run run run play action works great why change it i think we will come out in a big game and do a play action bomb on the first play and surprise somebody i think we have a good game plan the coaches know what they are doing

This post is full of fail

do it big like the Saints

Our offense is not built like the Saints

Jarrett Lee 40/59
Zach Mettenberger 8/11
Totals 48/70

Are 23 passes a game not enough when we've only been down for about 5 1/2 minutes the entire season and have been up by at least 2 scores in the 4th quarter of every game?

I stopped reading here. You have not watched LSU football this year. Lee has thrown the ball on first down quite a few times this year.

it's not enough to keep defenses honest apparantly.

Who cares, we took advantage of it against Miss St. I don't care if people are stacking the box as long as we can pass when we need to, and to this point we have.

They are still not respecting the passing game.

If LSU reliably gets four yards and a cloud of dust there is no need for a passing game at all. Who cares if they stack the box if they still can't stop Ware up the middle even then?

You will see more passing as Miles gains confidence in Lee.. People forget, we threw the ball around a good bit in 07 with Matt Flynn.

Only 3 things can happen when you pass the ball and two of them are bad.

Yes, let's throw the ball against a 3-3-5 defense with DL that average 258 pounds. Running would be stupid against such a scheme.

Fixed that for you.

Seriously, we are a heavyweight fighting a middleweight. He will come out and throw some quick hooks and jabs. We will keep our guard up, land body blows, occassionally throw a quick hook, lean on them and wear them out, and then land the haymaker in the third quarter. That is the way we handle business.

I love the three things can happen quote - its so true! Completion, out in the sticks , or drop.

I would even add one more,,,interception. And folks, all great QBs have an interception when you throw for high percentages. We need to win win win, so run run run

I agree with you 100%, but the DEFENSE style dictates in large part what we can/can not do.

You take what the D gives you and you play to your strengths...right now passing in good, not great so you rush and let the D help.

It may be boring, but a win is a win.
