is the reason they filed the suit against LSU
McGuire acknowledged in the documentary that Sorsby winning his injunction was unexpected but told his team captains, linebacker Ben Roberts and center Sheridan Wilson, they'll have his back if Sorsby can play. Within a week, though, Texas Tech determined it could no longer fight for Sorsby's eligibility after the Big 12 filed a federal lawsuit against Tech on June 15.

Sorsby betting countless times on CFB games (including his own) is far worse than a few guys on a team's training camp roster for a few weeks.

Exactly the Sorbsy situation is around betting on sports, which is clearly against the rules and not even close to this…

Sorsby situation is apples and oranges because it wasn’t caused as a result of the NCAA suddenly changing their rules on players and gambling and trying to declare Sorsby ineligible due to a recent rule change that happened after his offenses.

You know what the most important difference was? What Sorsby did is an actual crime.
