I get to watch an LSU QB win the Heisman.

An LSU QB...win the Heisman. It's surreal.

I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Couldn't happen to a better kid who also happens to love our University and our State.

Today is your day, Joe. Live it up. You've earned it.

Thanks to Joe Alleva. Without him there is no Jeaux Burreaux.

I was -31 years old the last time an LSU player won the Heisman. Enjoying every bit of this season, it doesn't come around that often.

Agreed. I saw some A&M family last weekend, and they reminded me how special this season is for us. They don't come around often, we need to appreciate it.

I thought you were a much older fella, Cheer.

Sentiments shared. So pumped to see and hear "Joe Burrow, LSU" tonight.

I think I do come across as older than I really am on here. But my dad wasn't even born the last time an LSU player won the Heisman. Regardless, it's been a long enough wait.

You do, and that's certainly meant to be a compliment.

My dad was a little 8 year old redneck in Jena, LA when Billy won. My son is almost 6. I am going to try to get him to pay close attention tonight so he can recall it for his kids and grandkids 60 years from now.

I was born three years after Dr Cannon won the Heisman, so I was brought up learning the legend. Coach Stovall should’ve won the Heisman three years later and I learned about that too watching him become an All Pro Safety with the St Louis Cardinals. I saw Tommy Casanova, Bert Jones and witnessed Charles Alexander’s Heisman campaign. I saw Tommy Hodson, Kevin Faulk and Tyrann Matthieu, who was the most instinctual and biggest game changer I’ve ever seen. Loved every one of these guys, BUT, Joe Burrow has had not just an LSU All Time historical season, but a College Football All Time historical season. I feel blessed to have witnessed this.

I was six. Hope I get to see a third and fourth!

And you youngsters need to let the small stuff go. Keep up the anger and you may not live to see another year such as this.

Never thought how prophetic my username would become when I chose it in '07.
