That's 26 rematches, only 6 sweeps. 2 rematches had a tie (regular season both time), 18 times the loser won the rematch.

I’m not sure where you got these, but without even looking, LSU beat Georgia twice in ‘03 and Utah beat USC twice just last year.
Point taken

I took the 2 non-bowl games (Notre Dame/Clemson and Auburn/Georgia) from memory, and the ones that included a bowl matchup from here

Certainly there will be more conference championship rematches.

I think the bowl rematches are the best indicators, because the bowls (usually) tried to match up comparable teams.

I made a point of Auburn-UGA because both wins were decisive... and not the same winner. Same thing with Bama-UGA.

If you took LSU-Fla State and rematched them, LSU may certainly lose again. But I'd say there's a good chance LSU also could score a lot more the second time around, and (with a healthy defense and some corners ) could keep Fla State out of rhythm more. It wouldn't be a big shock to flip the score, if Daniels and the WRs get rolling and Perkins disrupts the Seminole pocket.

Pretty sure no one really knew fsu had over 35 players hit with the flu that game . Many starters.Mike talked about in press conference after the game. But yeah...we played like shite that game.

I actually wish we did not play any good opponants the first few games. There was a time when Miles had LsU really hot to start the season every year, but that just isn’t the case anymore. Even 2019 we had a lot of trouble with Texas, a team we would have blown out by the end of the season.

Why? Who is left on their schedule you think they’ll lose to?

Fsu is winning the national championship this year so it will have to be another year.

Seems like y’all have played like shite every other game flirting with losing to unranked teams.

Want to talk about a delusional fanbase?

I’m reading an LSU board that believes they still have a shot at making the CFP lolololol

Fsu is going to carve Georgia a new a__whole. We have enough weapons to give anyone trouble. We are winning the whole thing this year.
