Agree 100% and you have to hear me out on this. Lefties make better short stops, period and here is why.
I always knew you were one or the worst baseball posters on this board. Thanks for proving it.

And here's the kicker: ALL PLAYERS ARE TAUGHT TO HIT THE BALL UP THE MIDDLE. And this plays directly into the strengths of a LH thrower.
This is so dumb I don't even know where to begin.

- A ball hit to the SS right side can be played normally with a body turn like for a RH SS playing a ball up the middle
So a left handers, moving right, should catch a baseball, and have their shoulder pointing towards left field and have to spin it around roughly 180 degrees, and make the throw to first, and that's easier done than a right hander? Yeah, ok.
And yes, it's the same for a RH moving to his left, but the throw going that direction from a right hander is much much shorter.

Baseball is still stuck in the 1900's, and like the "Opener" mod for pitching, the LH SS is the next evolution in the game coming
No it's not idiot. There aren't left handed short stops for a reason, and that's not changing. You are sitting here trying to tell us you know more than hundreds of years of baseball knowledge. If you have this ground breaking info, why aren't you running a baseball team, and using your superior knowledge to change the game forever?

1- A ball hit at the SS can be played equally by both LH and RH players
BUT
2- A ball hit to the SS left side is MUCH EASIER PLAYED by a LH thrower. It's a more natural throw where the LH player does not have to turn their body.
And here's the kicker: ALL PLAYERS ARE TAUGHT TO HIT THE BALL UP THE MIDDLE. And this plays directly into the strengths of a LH thrower.
Clearly an advantage for lefty SS.
And finally,
3- A ball hit to the SS right side can be played normally with a body turn like for a RH SS playing a ball up the middle. If it's a ball far to the SS right side, the SS can play it like an easy RH SS double play - IE, flip it to the 3B who guns it to 1B. The 3B has the strongest arm on the team, so this is natural. The LH SS is already moving towards the 3B, so this is the easiest flip in baseball.
Baseball is still stuck in the 1900's, and like the "Opener" mod for pitching, the LH SS is the next evolution in the game coming.
Wow. fricking wow

Go search the Rant during the Bregman days and find the ONE poster who wrote Bregs would play 3B in MLB and not 2B like all you other tards wrote.
<———— that’s who
Then come back and apologize.

Any credit you think you had for guessing that correctly, you just destroyed with your previous post, pal.

A left hander should be able to play 2nd due to the better range up the middle,
This oughta be a sig quote, lol. Hey guy, what does that LH 2b do with the ball once he goes deep in the hole with all that range?

What the hell does that have to do with your incredibly stupid take about left handed short stops?

Flips around, matrix style, and make the throw. Should be a piece of cake.

I guess the game has also passed every single baseball manager, GM, owner by as well, since they refuse to have a left handed SS for some strange reason. I ask again, why aren't you spreading your extremely advanced knowledge to the great baseball minds of the world? You said Bregman would play third, after all, so you already have instant credibility.

Try turning a double play with a left handed second baseman receiving the feed from SS.....end of discussion!

This is either the greatest, most elaborate and well thought out troll job in the history of the Rant or that is some extremely good grass being burned at your house.
But I don’t know baseball, so who knows.

There is a reason why there are no left handed SS at high levels.
Your an arse if you don’t understand that.
