That’s a whole bunch of excuses to just say you lost to the better team.

Texas was tough as nails.
That’s a talented team that is well coached. Good luck the rest of the way.

That pass was going nowhere and wouldn’t have ended in a first down.

I hope Ellinger has a good year and enters the draft after this season.

Thank you for allowing our better LSU quarterback to throw for more yards in his first try, than any Longhorn or other QB in stadium history. If you need more help rewriting the Longhorn record book, give us a call.

UT looked like a Top 10 team last night and LSU made a legit case for Top 4. Type of game any CFB fan enjoyed. Herman needs to check his ego and maybe he learns something from last night. In a close game at home, with a significant home-field advantage...take the fricking points hardhead.

Both teams will get better before EOY.

My bad!

I was trying out “click bait” like yahoo does, :-(.

I don’t think I said Texas was going to win, just that Texas has top drawer athletes, is well conditioned and LSU isn’t going to walk all over them.

I knew Texas had a good chance. Losing our 5* running back in week 1 hurt.

You won, we lost.

Surlyhorns has banned every LSU poster. Pretty incredible how sensitive they are.

That's nothing unique or new dipshit. That's basic common health knowledge. You make it sound as though Herman came up with this innovative conditioning system.

FWIW, we have the same chart on our bathroom stall doors at work.

That would be like me saying that Tom Herman is a genius because he came up with a brand new blood pressure monitoring system that says your pressure should be in the area of 120/80.

I agree that our players should have hydrated just a little bit more starting last week (you can't start the night before). But we're talking 18-22 year old college students. Not exactly the shining example of taking advice from an adult and following it to a tee. Whatever, it is what it is. We won, you lost. We overcame cramps, you did not overcome Joe Burrow. LSU wins.

I know you’re trying to be gracious and we appreciate it. You guys gave us a hell of a fight. Ehlinger is an awesome competitor, makeshift rb corps stepped up, your defense was a tackiling machine. Having said that, our defensive play/game plan was crap last night, and we didn’t make a whole lot of adjustments that I saw. As far as the “DBU” nonsense, Herbstreit was (rarely)right when he said “ I didn’t even know they were in the conversation!” Don’t get the cramping stuff, but whatever. It was a great game to watch. I hope you guys win out your regular season.

The "conditioning program": drink water, and only water for every meal and in between. Do it for a week leading up to the game. Especially so if you're expecting to play a game in conditions like it was last night after practicing in heat conditions like it was in Louisiana the past two weeks.
