We were kings not so long ago. I know what you mean but it really just feels like we've retaken our rightful place. They used to fear us. We need to keep reminding them why.

Miles ERA is dead. We should have fired him 1/2011 NC against BAMA, what he did to Janet Lee is unforgivable and showed how arrogant he was in doing it his way.

Thank you. I have not forgotten this. Wish he would have put Lee in.

What a fricking weasel. It hasn’t been lost on people that you have disappeared from this board with the great success of this team.

I was wondering what you were talking about so did a little digging.

And this...

"We've had an undefeated regular season, an SECC, and a Heisman finalist before"

Actually, this is incorrect. LSU was undefeated and won the national championship in the 1958 season. Billy Cannon's punt return and Heisman award were in the 1959 season.

I remember sitting in Tiger Stadium and actually holding my breath when a QB would drop back to pass the ball.

Those days are gone!

Yeah he’s pathetic. Check out the thread I linked at the bottom of page one where he flat out stated that LSU would never win a title under Orgeron.

I’ve seen a lot of threads of people eating crow and happy to do so. Not Damone.

The legacy of the team is secure at this point. They get a plaque outside the stadium next to the other SEC winners. Joe is getting a statue. There will be multiple national award winners who will get a plaque on the stadium.

The question now is if it’s one of the great seasons or if it’s the greatest season.

I'm talking about 2011. And you forgetting it illustrates my point.

there are a few like that. Same ones say Ensminger calls the bad plays. Ridiculous how petty they are.

I'm usually pretty good with words and have a fairly decent grasp of the English language, but I've never heard the word "sated" before.

Is it a South Louisiana word?

Like every other LSU fan, I would love to see the Tigers win the national championship. This team deserves it for its efforts. This team wants to win that championship.

But, God forbid, a loss occurs . . . .

This team and its coaching staff should still be held in the highest regard. They gave me and everyone else a satisfying season.

I really, really, really hope that there won't be any "fans" who will come on this site and condemn a player or players, a coach or coaches, or all in the event we lose one of the next two games. I fear that there will nonetheless be a pack of utterly immature crybabies who will have to relieve themselves should we lose. And, that would be a damned shame. It would utterly detract from any goodwill this team has earned through the year with recruits, etc.

Pardon my eyeballs. I was thinking Heisman "winner". You stated "finalist". I am correct about the "winner". You are correct about the "finalist". My bad.

Why can’t you just eat some crow and admit Orgeron is a better coach than you gave him credit for?

Well that's because he's a troll piece of shite on every board he posts on.
