Same game but earlier when burrow threw the tipped ball interception and the ol hustled to make a tackle inside the 10. We held them out of the end zone after that. That may have been a different game if they score on the interception.

The "Play of the Year" happened in the Fiesta Bowl when he picked himself up off the turf after slobber-knocker hit and pick six.
He showed the team they were being led by a MAN and they haven't looked back since.

I know that moment was special to me - cemented my opinion that Burrow was just 'different' than anything we'd ever seem from a QB at LSU

Being their live it meant so much more. Even Texas fans had this look prior to that play like old LSU showing up and they were going to win.

In that moment, watching those pompous fans deflate like a balloon was very satisfying.

Definitely a defining moment of the season. Unlike the past, from that moment on, I have never really been concerned about 3rd & 10. Ya just know JB will find the open man ..... and there will be an open man. Ironically, it almost takes something away from the game. :-) no suspense, no anxiety, just another first down ..... ain’t it grand ?!!

A play that I think a lot of folks forget about is Delpit chasing down DJ Williams and having him go out of bounds at the 9 yard line, instead of scoring a td. They ended up with a FG....those 4 points not scored were HUGE in a 23-20 game. Yes, we could have still won, but the game would have been played differently. GREAT hustle play by Delpit.

I agree. If we don't convert on 3rd and 17, we most likely lose that game.

Clyde made a huge blitz pickup on the MLB that made it all possible.

Agreed, but without the block that Chase had downfield Jefferson would've gotten smoked. The takeaway here, every man did his job on that play. It was special.

Yeah, I had this Arse hole next to and bumping into me all game then after this play we were high fiving and I looked around and that prick was gone. That was the worse game to watch live ever with those pricks there. Thank god we had a few tiger fans close by.

Play of the year was the decleater by the UCF player.

Joe shook it off (the hit and the pick 6) and lead the Tigers to victory. He showed his mettle and his will to win.

Play of the season was 3rd and 17.

Runner up of the season was the AB run to the 5 in the 4th quarter of the Alabama game.

so was 3rd and 5 in 4thQ in Tuscaloosa with LSU at the bama 40. Huge rush and Bama player grabbed Joe but he got off a wobbler anyway, to CEH who somehow made it to a first down. That was a very important play that helped us win in Tuscaloosa.

I’d submit the keeper on the read option on a late third down too. Right before CEH had his TD run, running through three tackles.
Joe has brass balls.

I had the same feeling watching the UGA fans mass exodus after Joe hit Jefferson on that wild play.

The Texas play was big and gave us a glimpse into what we were getting this year, a season full of special moments from a Heisman QB. Really hard to pick just one as a result.

To me, the most impactful plays were the pass to CEH and scramble late in the Bama game. We had to finally get that monkey off our back to get where we are and Joe wasn’t gonna be denied.

The most spectacular play that just wowed me (again) was the long pass against UGA. Only an incredible athlete can make that play.

All in all, it’s a joy to watch just how special a year Joe is having. So thankful it’s in the P&G

Patrick Queen int of Tua with 23 seconds left in half. From 26 to 33-13. If we lose to Bama.......this is a miserable place right now.

To me personally, it was special. It represented what I think LSU has done this year. No more conservative offensive play calls. This play just screamed: "frick it, we'll do it live!" All those years of frustration with an old offense, conservative plays, and not playing to win in big games.

It was unbelievable. It was the exact opposite of what LSU has done for years. Even Kirk Herbstreit was saying right before the play “Don’t you have to run it here? Make them use their timeout?” No. No, you don't.
