You really think that the call on Etling would have changed the game?????? You are a fool and will not give credit where it is due... Bama's defense was stellar last night. There is no other way to look at it.

To me that was a major play to be a no call and no review by Birmingham

The fact that in 2016, where player safety is shoved down our throats, a QB is sliding feet first to give up on the play gets hit in the helmet and they don't even review it says all you need to know about the situation.

Yes. I do.

You're way underselling how evenly matched that game was. Our offense did nothing, true, but for 3.5 quarters their offense didn't do shite.

If you don't think losing THEIR BEST PLAYER, leading tackler in the game, and the guy getting the front 7 lined up would've had an impact on a game that was ultimately a stalemate for the majority of the game, you're just ignorant.

If Bama had won 30 - 0 you guys would blame the refs.look lsu got beat by a better team in there back yard just admit it you guys are still butthurt with Saban leaving.

Plus you try to put this on a poster on this board named dukke v all the guy does is tell the truth and is basis and you people just blame him after he picks the team to win that he is passionate about

You people really are buffoons and scumbags hope he picks lsu big over the hogs so the melt and excuses can start very early.

I don't understand how Alabama's three unsportsmanlike conduct penalties to one would constitute "offsetting penalties." This is the only gripe I have about the zebras.

WTF??? He was out of bounds by at least two yards... That was an easy call.........

"That's he play they have been letting go all game, got hit harder by his bench" that was stated I do believe. Just watched it as well . It was a bump he stated while in bounds.

Anyone who bitches about the Hurts run, if you watch any play, you will see holding. It's part of the game, it gets called if it's obvious.

One Ah shite negates a whole lot of Attaboys. I agree that there is a lot of potential holding on many plays but when it is on the player who is trying to make the stop it should be called. Hell, Danielson called attention to it as soon as they replayed it and then quickly backtracked because he realized the controversy he would stir up.

Phantom Calls, Key missed calls, and weird rulings are all part of what everyone has come to know as Bama Privilege - Ask Hannegrif about that! Haha

They missed some calls they should have made. Some at crucial times. On the Hurts TD, a LSU DLineman or LB, I can't remember got held big time, right in front of them. Hurts and Alabama doesn't get a TD if they make the damn call like they should have.

but to have three blatant holds and no sign of a call...

Thanks for that pic. The two at top of the picture to me are not that significant but the one at the bottom changed the whole game. Scarborough has an arm lock on Lewis Neal who is supposed to stop that play or turn it back inside. Bo is behind the player with his arm wrapped through his armpit around to his chest basically clotheslining him.

That play and missed call changed the entire game. Take your pick, Holding or Block in the back...

10 yd penalty also potentially takes them out FG range

Remember our receiver pulling the Bama CB down to save an interception and no flags as an example?

You might want to pay more attention. The replay showed the CB had a hold of Charks jersey with his left hand and when Chark went down the CB went with him because he never let it go. The appearance of an offensive push was simply Chark reaching back for the ball which hit the CB in the arm. I didn't scream for any call but it dam sure was not offensive PI.

Easier to blame refs than to say. We were outmatched by a great opponent

Hurt was as good at tight-roping the sidelines as any runner I have ever seen...the defense had no choice but to make sure he was OB...then to make matters worse his own teammates knocked him to the ground versus catching him...that bad call kept their drive alive.

They outplayed us but the refs definitely had a big part in them outplaying us. It's literally every single year vs Bama though.

I really only saw 2 calls that I thought were bad.

I get there is holding every play but to miss 3 holds all on the same play which gave Alabama 7 instead of them trying for 3.

The holdings during hurts TD run and the late hit on hurts. He had just stepped out with 1 foot and the lsu defender was trying to make sure. What if the lsu defender held up and hurts lowered his shoulder and went up field for more yards.

The only other thing I didn't like was when 33 decleated 44 from behind on the field. 33 should have been ejected and that unsportsmanlike like penalty upheld instead of being cancelled out. 44 was the definition of defenseless player.
