UF, with multiple offensive mistakes, already has 16

I am not optimistic going forward. It looked so much like a continuation of Miles' philosophy. Play the game, as to not lose it

And their offense/special teams literally gave them 14 back...so, they net 2.

And yet, still more than LSU netted

I can't believe you poster continue to post the same thing.

Again, LSU vs. Bama game was a completely different game with two teams having a Bye week to prepare for one another. First team that scored was going to win the game.

I'll play your game, I can't believe Bama couldn't score against LSU until the 4th Qtr?

They must suck! You see how that works?

With that conservative arse offense we used this year and the past five years, no one can expect to score on Bama.

It takes imagination and execution, both have been woefully lacking on LSU's offensive side of the ball.

Yeah, but nobody can score more than 10 against LSU.

And yet we hire a DLine coach, and a radio personality to lead us to the promise land

That DL Coach you speak of took over a Les Mile's offensive scheme on short notice without the benefit of having an off-season to prepare for his opponents and not only did better than Les Miles, but broke records in the offensive categories in 5 out of 7 games.

Not too shabby huh?

It was a continuation of Miles because LSU still had to use his playbook. You have to throw to move the ball on Alabama. For the last few years that has been painfully evident.

Hey Pomansky, maybe you missed the part in the OP where it was stated that O coached just like Miles in the Bama and UF games? So why the need to buy him out, and hire someone who has a more embarrassing resume?

This. It was almost IMPOSSIBLE for Coach O to install a new offensive game plan in a short time frame. Similar to your CEO being fired at your job and expecting a new CEO to install a new business strategy in a few weeks an increase productivity, sales, etc.

For what it's worth. Bama had a difficult time scoring against LSU as well so it looks very promising considering that this was Dave Aranda's first year as a DC and now the new Coach/OC will have a full year to prepare for their opponents.

Maybe because it's IMPOSSIBLE to install a new offensive philosophy at mid-season. Do you work OP? If so, imagine your CEO getting fired and a new CEO coming in trying to fix everything. Do you think your company can train everyone, install a new business strategy, and get better results in a short time frame?

Of course not. Well, it's similar when it comes to football. There are a lot of things that happen behind the scenes that you have no clue about. So, stop expecting the next to IMPOSSIBLE and be patient. Wait, at least a season or two before passing judgement on Coach O.
