Maybe their off line will get a holding call tonight!

Mingo/Sam will force Jones/Fluker to hold early and often tonight.

Early in the 2nd quarter, LSU had the ball on the Bama 38. We had just eeked out a first down, with the officials looking at the ball for a little bit and then signaling first down. Meanwhile, the play clock had already started and LSU coaches had to wait for the signal. LSU rushed to the line of scrimmage, barely beat the play clock, gained about 8 yards on first down. However, LSU got flagged for not being set. That run would have put LSU with a 2nd and short, already in field goal range, but the penalty pushed LSU back and forced a punt.

Of course, only Bama missed scoring chances.

Hey you! I have to apologize for not calling you. It has been one thing after another.

Later this week.

Yes. It'll be much more obvious and BigXII refs would rather legally screw Alabama any chance they can.

I hope we run those frickers sideline to sideline all night and make 'em puke red koolaid.

Bold prediction, once we get them doing this, JJ breaks a long one up the middle.

I rewarded it last night as well and I noticed that mo and company baited McCarron into some really bad passes. Watching it the first time I didn't really catch that since I was so caught up in the game but if we can do the same tonight we get at least 2 interceptions

I noticed two things:
1) We didn't beat them as bad as I remembered us doing .... until the fourth quarter was about halfway done. From then on we had established dominance.
2) That game was exceptionally violent. Not in the NFL way, with safeties leading with their heads on crossing routes. I mean just TEs hitting LBs, linemen smashing into each other at full speed, full force, every down. It's amazing either Trent Richardson or Spencer Ware were still standing.

Both were playing like chopped liver at the end of the 4th. Ware was totally ineffective and when Ford came in with fresh legs in OT and tore it up. Meanwhile Richardson was open but too slow to catch the pass down the 5.

It was especially telling how beat down Barrett Jones and Maze were at the end of the game. It showed a real weakness and lack of depth that Alabama has to play players with clear injuries. With Jones hurting, the running game got shut down and LSU stared making huge negative yardage tackles late in the fourth.
