Yeskie sucks. Four pitchers are saving his arse. He can’t teach kids with good stuff how to throw.

I don’t think so.

He may be a good coach but the results have been poor.

Jay needs to move on and he will.

I think Yeskie took the lazy way out in recruiting transfers, so I have little respect for his abilities.

The excuses y'all come up with for Yeskie's bum arse

Yea, you're right. The pitching staff under Yeskie has been so good he definitely deserves the benefit of the doubt. It's not like we've watched pitchers not be able to throw strikes now for 2 years.

You assholes that think Yeskie has nothing to do with the pitching issues are rather ridiculous.

Whether it's the pitches he's calling or what he's teaching, it's not working. There's a reason a&m threw the most pitches in the SEC while he was there and when he left, they improved tremendously.

I'm sure Yeskie is a good guy and was once a good coach, but he's not a good coach anymore. That should be clear as day to anyone who has watched this team the last year and a half.

He's a coach and what he's teaching clearly isn't resonating with his staff.

You could see the big jump Anderson made from last year, at the beginning of this year. Eyanson kept getting better as the year went along. If you can’t look at that and figure out that Yeskie probably knows what he’s doing, then you are probably not very smart. Rantards going to rant. Water is wet.

I definitely questioned how long they stayed with pitchers unable to execute the pitch or pitch location and I questioned the wasted or non competitive pitches when ahead in the count and pitchers struggling. Still same questions but he has called excellent games when needed most.
Congrats Yeskie!

People will continue to gripe about his pitch calling. I think it’s part of the development process, but the complaints are logical.

It's amazing to me that fans will complain about play or pitch calls, without even knowing what was called.

Let's say Yeskie calls for a fastball at the bottom of the zone to a batter that struggles with low fastballs. Shores leaves it high and it gets knocked out of the park, seems crazy to complain about the pitch call there, but people do it.

Oh yeah. Results based complaints will never go away. But most of the complaints are type of pitch, not location. Watching the call and the catcher setup, you can see they have a very deliberate gameplan to give different looks each at bat. And yeskie calls pitches with the expectation that the pitcher will execute. Which leads to guys like Schmidt and shores earlier in the conference season looking bad. He coaches them based on where he expects them to be, not where they are.
