No, my friend, you are the moron. I like Lee. I've supported him through thick and thin. Heck, I started a "I support Jarrett Lee" thread during his worst game of the season against Bama.
But, this one quarter proves nothing. He had a great half against Auburn and then fell apart for the next 5 games until the 4th quarter of this game.
I realize that he's our starter and the best we have. But, that doesn't mean that he has suddenly turned it around. He's had these moments before and then drowns back into the suckiness that can't get a first down or complete a 5 yard pass.

i wasn't there tonight, but seriously, if i was freezing, miserable, and not feeling good, i would have left even if the score was tied at 31 in the 4th. I'm not going to torture myself and/or my health for a football game.

the point is that it was a helluva game. you really can't be a top 10 team every year in the SEC. its impossible. about the only team that can do that is usc b/c the pac 10 sucks.
yeh the season has been subpar compared to what we're used to but we won the game and a lot of positives came out of it.

I just don't understand the enthusiasm. We've done this before. We are all elated after Auburn. We thought that we had finally found a QB. Thought that Jarrett Lee was going to be great and keep us in games with his steady play.
But, he had one good half against a crappy team.
Fast forward 5 games and he once again has one good quarter against a crappy team. How is that progress?

I think that we are all happy that we won. But, not overly enthused and buying into the hoopla that this win means anything.

For those of you that are claiming that Troy is an awesome team, please stop. They've already lost to one Louisiana school (other than LSU) and could lose to another by the end of the season.
You can't trash the Sunbelt Conference all season and then suddenly claim that they're SEC caliber. LSU sucked for three quarters tonight. Worse than Sunbelt sucking. You'd better be happy that it wasn't ULL or ULM in there running up points on you, or you'd be the laughing stock of the state.

I just got home from work, and I have been wanting to get on TD since I walked in the door..and in texas we don't have tigervision at my bar, so I had to deal w/ catching snippets on my phone whilst I was working...so the overall tone is not that of a satisfactory win but that we actually came back against a sub par team that was supposed to be mowed over and rejuvenate the spirits of the team. I am not surprised at all. Last week we had a terrible showing against alabama and almost won and tonite we almost lost to troy and pulled out a win tonight...argghh the battle of the boot will make my thanksgiving just...ahhh

gimme a team in the SEC that has finished in the top 10 every year over the past 5? there is not one. the closest thing is lsu.
all i'm sayin is this is the golden age of lsu football and all y'all can do is bitch about it when you weren't even there.
i realize it sucks to be down by 28 points to troy. but we didn't quit and we got the "w" and i think that is something to build off of this year and next.
