i can't be happy. Why? Because, all of the encouraging things from the 2nd half we've seen before. And, they've faded before.
Jarrett Lee was lights out against Auburn in the 2nd half. He's looked like dog crap the rest of the year until the 4th quarter. It's more likely that he'll continue to play horrible than play well. What happened in this one quarter that is going to make it a lasting change that didn't happen at Auburn?
Also, we've seen the defense look good. They looked pretty dang good against Bama last week. Of course, that was against a pretty pathetic offense with the most conservative coach in the top 10 on the sideline. Then, we come out this week with a horrible gameplan to start the half. Who cares if we looked better in the 2nd half? We looked horrible for the first half and first drive of the second half. Horrible playcalling, horrible scheme. These coaches are making very talented players look like they need to go back to middle school.
I'm pissed. Coming back and winning this game proves nothing. We've seen this before. Now, prepare for us to come out against Ole Miss with a horrible game plan and look like crap for the entire first half. Our defense will be yelling at each other 2 seconds before the offense hikes the ball because the playcall comes in late. On 3rd and 1 our DBs will be playing 15 yards off the line of scrimmage. And, Jarrett Lee will go back to throwing the ball over our coaches heads and into the opposing teams hands for TDs.
Nothing has changed. We've made no progress. If anything, we've continued to get worse as the season has gone on.
What is their to be ecstatic about?

and lost to ULM.
yea but that still doesn't deny the fact that they played close with ohio state.
but whatever, a win is a win regardless of who it's against.

the only good thing i saw out of this game is that lsu is capable of having an amazing football team...it was not evident until the 4th qt. and i was fairly suprized!...the down side unfortunatly is that u never know when or if they'll put it all together for next season in time....this season has been very upsetting in that lsu has not played a complete game all year and has continued to struggle with the same problems every game...it's gotten to the point that on every play fans ask themselves, "ok, which lsu team is gonna show up on this play?" Next thing ya know lsu has to waste a time out b/c there's not enough men on the field!! it's the little things like this that are keeping this team from being a really good football team

exactly no fricking excuse for our coaches letting us play like dog shite for a whole fricking half. I can understand troy being up on us by a td or even 2 at some point but to cont to watch our players not play hard in the first half is a bit much. frick they tried to pretty much onside kick it 3 times and every time they were damn close to getting it.

what i've noticed is that all of the retards that are happy with this win joined this forum this year, the year after we won our 2nd BCS NC. Where have you diehard LSU fans been the last 15-20 years?
I guess I'd be happy too if I had just joined the bandwagon and didn't really know what is going on.

he didn't mention JJ, he was just stating that J. Lee bleauxs and he has all season long. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.
