that made me laugh, good analogy. So true.

First 21 plays against Arkansas had Harris in shotgun. Serious question, do some of yall watch the games?

Thank you, dgnx6! Our FB and TE got hurt, so Cam was forced to do exactly what these idiots have been asking for - and the offense went from top 5 in the nation to terrible.

We lost to Bama by 14 in Tuscaloosa with our struggling offense. If Clemson doesn't get the last garbage touchdown they lose by 12

This is misleading. The final score was very representative of the Clemson game. It was very copetitive. The LSU loss was worse than the score. It was never competitive after halftime.

Les believes not in scheme but execution. He does not utilize strength verses weakness on offense because he doesn't believe in it.

How many different QBs are you LSU "fans" gonna shite on before you look at what the real problem is?

But you have a HUGE problem when someone says anything remotely negative about Miles whose making $4 mill a year recruiting guys like Harris to run his bullshite offense.

Watson would look like shite in our offense too.

Because he came through Clemson running "one system"

Not quarter of the year running shotgun spread vs. 75% of his plays running an 1975 I formation bullshite offense where you have 2 options to throw to and one WR goes deep and the other WR runs a ten yard out.

The reason Harris looks like shite down to the OL looking like shite running the same formations as Clemson is thE Clemson coaches obviously know how to teach them to run the system. Our coaches have to watch film on other teams to learn it.

But you're right. Harris has been here the other 8 years the offense has looked like a shite show. It's all his fault. fricking idiots.

The shotgun does not play to our strengths. LF is a power, downhill runner that plants and cuts upfield. Not gonna happen in spread.

They were at least competitive. LSU rolled over and played dead against them, then it carried over for two games.

I think some read option style would be great if Harris can read appropriately.

Amen. Its what the best leaders in any field or endeavor do.

Watson is the best QB, and possibly player, in the country so he is going to make any offense look good.

So by that rationale if Watson was LSU's QB -- then LSU would have scored 40 on BAMA?

Or more likely, they just have better offensive coaching than we do. Because with the exception of 3 or 4 guys, LSU has superior talent on both sides of the ball compared to Clemson.

This. Mis direction and timely play calling are something we have not been able to do since probably 07. Mis-direction can be so easy with 2 beastly running backs in same back field. There is so much we would be able to do. I'm not saying be Oregon but maybe be closer to philly when they had shady McCoy but still use I form every so often. Just less 1 and 2 wide plays with only 2 options to throw to

Exactly. We can still run the ball effectively out of the spread/Gun. Probably more effective then the vaunted Les Miles power I

Know how I know you weren't watching this year?

When running from the gun Fournette was not as good as running from the vaunted Les Miles I.

But by all means let's continue to spread the bs

well he might want to develop that portion of his game if he wants to play in the NFL

perhaps, not out of one of those gimmicky HUNH air raid spread offenses but could easily do it out of a single back 3wr shotgun formation. NFL backs better be able to do it, Jeremy HIll does it. Other college backs do it. He also needs to work on his pass catching out of that formation as well as he will need those skills to play in the NFL.

So we take what is working and change it up to accommodate what we want to see happen, and create an offensive style that has yet to win a national championship in spite of the Oregons, Clemsons, Oklahomas and Baylors setting record offensive numbers.

Nothing will ever change. Miles will be gone next year after 7 games of ground and pound, followed by a late Season collapse where they suddenly try to open things up

Just pray that Fisher still wants to come to LSU.

Here's why Clemson's offense works and we cannot emulate it.....they have a Qb that people fear and scheme around. Ragland hung out in no man's land most of the night. If we want to have an offense like that, Harris will have to improve. By the way, Watson had some rough games throughout the year as well, but when you play Clemson you try to slow down Watson. When you play LSU, you try to slow down Fournette.

I wouldn't want Fisher. If we were or are going to get rid of Miles we need an up grade not a lateral transfer. What would be the point of getting rid of Miles and then taking Fisher?

Fisher produces quality Qb play and recruits top qbs every year. That's the draw. I'd take him without having to buyout 2 contracts. It didn't make a lot of sense this year.
