I rushed the field for LSU Tenn in 2000...

All the anticipation building up to that win in overtime and then rushed the field...it was very anti-climactic. I immediately got separated from my buddies...I grabbed handfuls of grass and put it in my pocket...stood there and looked up at the stands and marveled at the size/crowd/stadium/noise ...then was like WTF do I do now? High fived a few random people and made my way out of the stadium to find my buddies and partied the night away.
10/10 would still recommend to a student.

Made more sense then when we were fighting for respect as a program and everyone thought Tennessee was coming in to demolish LSU. Even one of their sports writers took aim at Tiger Stadium calling it Kevorkian Valley because LSU dies there.

it would be realllllllyyyyy stupid to rush for any game this season. Ole Miss lost to Kentucky, Bama to Vandy, and OU will likely have 3-4 losses by the end of November. Storming the field is a great time, but there's not a legit reason to storm for any of our games this year in my opinion.

I too was there, still have the grass in a zip loc somewhere, rushed for Bama that season too

the only legitimate reason to rush any game would be after they clinch a playoff berth likely after Oklahoma but even then you would likely get another home game in the playoffs if that should happen, so no point in tearing the field up

I rushed in 2014 as a student against Ole Miss. Took some grass and stood at midfield just soaking it all in. Great time

Stormed the field for UGA 2018 - was the only person (that I saw) wearing a Greedy Williams jersey, and got a pic with Greedy. Pretty cool moment

I don't know why people get so worked up over this. Who cares if people have fun and storm the field
