Try living in MS right now. It's unbearable.
I'm here man....Madison County.....it is ridiculous....all these women posting all kind of shite that they know nothing about. Both schools will lose, and will likely lose 2 games...I just wish it would hurry up and get here.....
Ole Miss fans have always been arrogant.....actual accomplishments mean absolutely nothing to them....they are taught to think they are better, and that is the comical part....probably one of the lowest criteria of any school in the SEC, to gain acceptance.
Miss State fans are SLIGHTLY better, but this hail state crap is ridiculous. What exactly does that mean? Hail State? Bow down to them? for what, academics? sports success? I mean seriously.....
It will all come to an end this year, and within the next couple years (next year for State) they will both assume their normal position. I guess if neither have ever won anything in their lifetime......one can overlook that absurd delusion.

Ole Miss fans are terrible. They always talk about how great they've always been and I'm like lol wut?

Being a life long Rebel living in the state of GA I have always enjoyed the Ole Miss/LSU rivalry.
I remember some of my best times working as a student trainer for Ole Miss when we played LSU. I always wanted to be on the field set up crew so after we were done on Saturday morning, we'd wander around outside the stadium, being invited to tailgates, talking with LSU fans, being fed WELL and had a d@mn good time. NEVER had an issue with LSU unless the fans started rocking the bus after the game....
As far as Ole Miss this year, I've been "cautiously optimistic" since game 1 and have been very pleased thus far. Any Rebel fan that takes ANY game lightly is a fool because now a days in the SEC there is no gimmie, ever.
I am looking forward to Saturday Night in Baton Rouge. Always have, always will.

I'm in a mixed marriage...my wife has already made the accusation that LSU conspired to have the game at night...
knowledgable ole miss fans are worried about a night game in tiger stadium, because they know that weird things happen that never break their way...a day game is another thing entirely...

And most of you on here claim we are not your rival......
Well, the truth is that the LSU fans nor players have gotten up for Ole Miss in about 10 years or more now. I have been to the last 4 LSU/Ole Miss games in Baton Rouge, and while at times during the game it may have gotten loud...there has been no pre-game hype/noise. That says everything about who Ole Miss is, and about the teams that LSU play annually that impact the NC race....Ole Miss hasn't been one of those teams.
The hatred for Ole Miss is because of the arrogance the fans display. They program has been shite for 50+ years, yet your fans talk like you are an elite program. It is comical, arrogant, and incorrect. This game though, will be the first time in a LONG time that you will get to experience a true tiger stadium game....the atmosphere should be electric....I expect an LSU victory....and I'm not sure it is close. Ole Miss is overrated....beating what looks like a bad a&m team with two gift touchdowns....and beating a Bama team that may be worse than LSU........

Ole Miss is to us what we are to Alabama.
wow...is this a joke? LSU and Bama have had games to decide national championships....and it is no coincidence both always have a bye the week before the game. This game, more than others, has decided the SEC West for most of several years now. When has the Ole Miss/LSU game carried such weight?
LSU has beaten bama 8 out of the last 13 meetings I believe.....I can assure you that Bama gives LSU much more respect than LSU has given Ole Miss....I'm looking forward to this year and hope Ole Miss comes in undefeated.

We got stunned by Ole Miss (on my birthday no less) and I was devestated
Same here.
I showed up at my parents house for my birthday party after floating our tailgate keg to drown my sorrows.
I was not 14 though.
Motherfrickers ruined my birthday weekend last year too.
LSU 61,
Ole Miss 17
Bears go back into hibernation for another 51 years.
I'm sure Peej will agree with that score prediction.

Who compared our success this year to someone hitting the lottery, i.e. new money, in regards to how we are "acting" as a fan base.
I disagreed. I see us more as old money that, although have we been on hard times by our standards, has still been relatively rich as frick (almost always save a handful of years in the top 20-50 in the country) and a member of the elite clubs (SEC).
I guess what I am trying to say is, Go To Hell LSU and we rich as hell again.
Things like this, there is no more delusional fanbase in all of sports.

I don't live in Louisiana, but I respect peoples emotions about beating Ole Miss. I just go nuts about that damn Alabama and all the frickin' lucky breaks that go their way. I hate Alabama!
frick.
frick.

I hate them all. I would rather lose to St Mary's school for the deaf and blind, than to lose to any SEC school.
