It amazes me how much people know about our depth chart and what the coaches think from Sonny's or Mike's reports after watching 10 min. of warmup drills. I think JJ is the man this year but I honestly don't know after watching him for only 2 games last year. I would think JL would be much improved and I have no idea about a true freshman who I only saw in the Under Armour game against other kids that won't play much if any this year.

A major factor in playing QB is confidence. Losing confidence slows your thought processes and makes you a much worse player. Clearly, JL lost his confidence last year.

It's pretty clear that JJ deserves to be the starter, and RS will spell him with a package that is mostly running plays. However, as this is the SEC, there is a significant chance that JJ will miss at least one game to injury. In this case I think they will split time between JL and RS, probably favoring JL in PT.

I hope that JL gets past his confidence issues and becomes the QB he is capable of being, but I will be very nervous when he takes the field.

...And I really hope that JJ doesn't get confidence problems, otherwise this could be a very frustrating year.

It's his poise, leadership, and most importantly.. the way the players trust him.

If his team trusts him.. hell, we should too.

I can't beleave some of these post I suspect
most of these JL supporters are his parents, uncles, etc.

JL will not see the feild let it go RS and Garret
are ahead of him on the depth chart.

In response to a previous ranter we know the depthchart at Qb by the spring game order
JL is fourth, and should be ,behind garret.

From what we have seen thus far, JJ is improving and played a hell of a game on the road against a top 15 team. Lee on the other hand did not progress and actually got worse. He struggled against good and bad competition alike.

Of course anything can happen, but right now, today, LSU fans have every reason to be excited about JJ and down on Lee.

BT(or should I call you Mr. Lee) all you do is attack normal fans. No one agree's with you.

JJ is our starter thats it!
unless 3 qb's get injured JL will not see the feild!

its almost assured he is going to struggle.... im anxious to see how our fan base handles it, because some many of them were enamored with the kid since his 1st snap last year, when in reality he really struggled most of the time

no, JL was on the same team as JJ because Miles wanted him to work with the #1 offense. Nice try though

and even after that still didnt complete over 50% of his passes on the year.

still had a lower QB rating than Lee.

still had wayyyy to many stalled drives in the 2nd half vs Ole Miss and ARK(FML)

in his defense, our running game was terrible against Ole Miss. JL had the advantage of a good running game most of the year

He got less reps then garrett and tv reporters
commented on this.

Just read an article on the spring game JJ did great and Rs was right behind. JL is in a fight for third with garret.

Neither coach miles nor the fans want him on the feild.

For the life of me I cannot understand why we are
even having this discussion.

A true freshman grossly out played a more experienced red shirt. I have not met one fan who thinks JL should start or even play for lsu.

Mentally he just does not have what it takes he proved that on the feild!
