I don't recall anyone saying that. He jus isn't as good as the other QB's.

Well then someones hacking you TD account and posting under your name.

quote:

I believe he may improve some, but I doubt as a long time Tiger fan that he will be the future QB of LSU for the near future. I just don't see it. and then it's bye bye J Lee.

and this

quote:

I doubt you will see JLee as the starting QB next year, Right now he is a one dimensional threat with no ability to run or read defense with a penchant for throwing INT"s, a disaster in the SEC as far as I'm concerned.

and of course, you didnt post this

Yeah. It sucks to be young, athletic and the starting QB at a premier football school.

i have confidence in Jordan Jefferson. I do not in Jarret Lee. It isn't that Lee threw interceptions it's the fact of how he threw them. Staring down receivers and throwing into double and triple coverage. I think Jefferson will have some bumps next season but he'll be fine. And robb bobb yes i was at the bowl game and Jefferson made some mistakes but he played a hell of alot better than Lee would have. I attended every home game this season and i saw defenders drop more than two interceptions in multiple games which J Lee was quarterback. And you complained that no one praised Lee for his wins. What good team did the kid beat all season? The fact is Jefferson beat a top 25 team. The best team Lee beat all season was Auburn and we all know they turned out to be a joke.

Ok, so why did you have to tell everyone something they already knew? I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by posting these types of statements. Fans on message boards have oppinions and they are going to express them, deal with it or get off the board.

Do you really feel sorry for JJ or are you hoping he regresses next year to make you feel better for being more of a JL supporter and claiming we had no other QB better than JL? Why can't you just say you hope JJ continues to develop into the guy we have been missing all year? Is he not the picture of the QB you want to see succeed at LSU?

Another Pro-JJ Anti-JJ thread. Just get over it, JJ is better. He is our future.

Playing QB is not like a good baseball player getting in a slump. He has all of the tools. All he needs is a line to give him some time, and he'll do great.

wow.. im not sure how to respond to this thought pattern.

anything that is not PRO/JJ for some of you is considered pro/JL or anti/JJ .... Im mean for some of you, if dont paint JJ as the next tom brady then hell, you must be a JL relative.....

Im not biased towards either one... i think both have a long ways to go, If you beleive JJ was playing under the same circumstances the last 2 games of the yr as JL was during the season then this should probably stop right here...

I don not follow this logic, people such as yourself have.....

A... JJ will only continue to get better and better

B... JL can not and will not get better. He should transfer,,,
That's many of your views on this qb situation... ive been keeping up with it since the ark game.

Blows my mind how thats all some of you can see,,, i wonder how you felt after watching JL after AU and them Miss state... ???thats what i mean when i say I feel sorry for JJ.
God forbid he does sturggle and Lord help some of you if JL does in fact improve.

I think most people on here want both JJ & JL to get better. It will only help LSU.
But JJ was the one robbed this year. He is clearly, at this point in time, better and more prepared to lead LSU than JL was all season. And Yes I think he would have done better during the meat of this past season than JL.
Council your stupid and you don't get it!!!
STFU!!!

You are f'ing right! I would love Miles Job. That would be a dream job for me, but I doubt that will happen... So here is the deal;
JJ should have been getting playin time the minute Hatch went down. The fact that when JJ has gotten a chance to REALLY PLAY he has made very good decisions proves we was capable all along, while coaches were persistent in tell the Tiger Nation that he wasn’t ready. Bottom Line - JJ sure as hell looked better than Lee as a leader of this team.
Now, Council, are you that stupid to think that the coaches really made a good decision with the QB situation this past season? I'm not saying freshman or even sophomores aren’t supposed to struggle, and I’m not saying LSU would have been NC, but this past season was a waste. LSU had TOO MUCH offensive firepower to not do better than they did in 2008. AND the bowl game proved that.
I feel bad for JL because he appeared to play best while rotating in and out the game. As opposed to being thrown to the wolves of the SEC.
There were other issues too with the Tigers this past year, like discipline, and that too should fall on coaching. But It's frickin jack arse KNOW-it-all people like you that piss me off,,, with your BS about “no one on the rant is worth a shite or knows what fuk they are talking about.” Most Tiger fans are pretty intelligent when it come to the fundamentals of football and when it’s not happening on the field the rant is where a lot go to express their frustrations with it!!! Don’t worry Council, there are so many more just like you on here that also need to STFU!!!
JJ got his shot and killed it against a top 15 team, and now “JL or nothing people” need to get over it. Next year the job is JJ’s to lose, and I would bet everything I have on that. And Council, you are not going to keep myself or others that feel the same about JJ to not be optimistic about what LSU is capable of in 2009.
And by the way,,, I would hope that the coach knows more about the players they have than fans do, but it just didn't seem that way this past year. I really hope it gets better next year, cuz we all know miles is capable...

I myself hopes JL improves because he has no way but up to go. Players do get hurt and it would be great to know we have someone who's not going to lose the game for us should the starter get hurt. I know it's open competition in the spring, but I think as for now it's JJ's job to lose more than anything.

We don't JJ as the next Tom Brady, he's not my one of my favorites anyway but I think people support JJ more right now because he was a pleasant breath of fresh air.

I could never get excited about JL because I was always expecting another pick six around the corner. I spent more time wiping the sweat from my forehead after JL made a good play instead of hi fiving and it seemed like his teammates felt the same way. With JJ I was more relaxed because of the calmness he brought to his team and the fans.
