Cam also won't go b/c Les would wait until after bowl season to fire him....when there won't be many available.

Also, why would an OC come here for 1 year?

Also, it's not Cam. It's Les. The OC doesn't matter. Our strategy is, has been and will continue to be: "Let's punt so we can play defense"

Why would Les make any changes? He already said that the defense was solid. The offense wasn't really bad since the engine was firing on all cylinders.

regardless of how bad Alleva and boosters handled the potential ousting of Miles, Miles knows he was given a one year life line; this will not be squandered on Cam...there will be change a he will learn to get out the way...NOBODY will pay Miles 4mil a year again until he proves to catch up with the times...I have to believe he knows this as well

Oh and clearly Kevin Steele needs to go. Our defense, outside of a good game against A&M when they were coaching for their jobs, has been an utter failure.

Our defense is incompetent and undisciplined. Everyone knew this was a shitty hire and of course that came to fruition.

My dream scenario (besides Miles leaving) is Steele to LB coach, Cameron replaced with young and innovative OC, and Peveto be tarred and feathered at midfield on his way out of town.

The last time we had junior players instead of sophomores we had a 3000 yard qb, 1000 yard rb, and 2 1000 yard wrs.

Yeah, and like 8 guys from that offensive unit are currently in the NFL....so....

Why won't Les let Cam go? Two reasons: First, they are REALLY close friends...closer than he and BDP. Second, Les is stubborn and will keep him out of spite.

Yeah, this is really stupid. What does "stubborn" really mean? It means he's convinced he is correct, and you, who don't have one tenth of the data he has or knowledge of the game, are wrong.

If the janitor in a hospital kept telling a doctor that his diagnosis was wrong you can bet the doctor would remain "stubborn".

No one would dream of having this conversation about a doctor or an engineer, but football coach is just one of those professions that everyone thinks they could do better.

The entire staff could change on offense it would still be the same old garbage. How many offensive coordinators have coached under Miles since 2005? Still the same garbage!

We covered every kick. Sorry the facts don't fit your narrative. As to the mistakes, individual players need held accountable.

The facts do fit my narrative. Did you fall asleep when the fricking punter punted it 15 yards when we were trying to close out the game? Good Lord, you people will do anything to try and justify BDP's worthless existence.

Who all saw when Keehn shanked that punt and Peveto laughed and patted him on the shoulder?

Keehn walked away with a smirk like the mischievous little kid that got away with something.

This isn't a national-championship contending football team with coaches that demand accountability and discipline.

This is a spoiled fraternity run by indulgent house parents.

Are you really comparing GLARING problems with a football team to medical situations?

And this is why the players love playing for this staff

And bama still kicked our arse ...

And we still lost to ole miss in a shitty performance ...

And we were irrelevant nationally in November again ...

So what does THAT tell you?

To supplement my last post:

Hard Facts on LSU Special Teams

LSU 112 in TB%
LSU 12th in kicks out of bounds (!)
LSU 98th in average kickoff distance
LSU 73 in avg kickoff return given up
LSU 127 in average punt return given up
LSU 89 in average kickoff return
LSU 48 in average punt return

So that is what tremendous improvement over the last few games got you. Also, now our kicker can't make field goals. BDP is the MVP of this staff.
