I obviously want to win tomorrow, but I am most concerned about UGA.

If we somehow lost to TAMU and beat UGA, I think we would still make the playoffs.
Conversely, I'm convinced that if we lost to UGA the Committee would contrive a way to cheat us out of the playoffs. Maybe it's paranoia, but I dont trust the Committee. Prevailing over UGA seems paramount.
Best not to lose at all, of course.

Looks like UGA’s best receiver will be out due to injury. I like our chances.

I don’t think the committee would cheat us. LSU fans including myself have always believed a team should win their conference to be in. The committee would look at conference champions first.

We just need to win one of the next two games to get in. I think it would actually look worse to lose to A&M than a top 4 UGA in an extra game that most teams are not having to play.
We are going to win both but I feel confident LSU is in the playoffs so long as we don’t lose both games.

There are only 2 scenarios at this point where LSU could miss the playoffs:
1) Lose to both A&M and UGA
2) Lose to UGA along with:
— Clemson wins out
— An 11-1 Minnesota beats an undefeated OSU in Big 10 final. And even this isn’t 100% guaranteed to leave LSU out.

If you can't beat Faggie, what makes you think LSU can beat UGA? LSU is going to skull frick these teams on the way to a Championship this year.

We wouldn't be conference champs if we lost to Georgia though.
The worst case scenario, besides losing both games, is us losing to Georgia and Minnesota beating Wisconsin Saturday and beating Ohio State in the conference championship game.
If that happens then who do you leave out. Minnesota would be hard to leave out, Ohio State would be hard still to leave out. Georgia would go for sure, It would be a mess

I agree. And the game tomorrow night worries me, thanks to the prospect of foul weather.
Member the Tennessee game 2017? I do. I know it was a different team and different offense back then, but LSU was horrible offensively the whole game. Heavy crosswinds the first half gave way to heavy monsoon rains after halftime.
It was Tennessee's oft turnovers and Connor Culp's quasi-dependable right foot which rescued the Tigers that night. Somehow I visualise the same weather setup tomorrow night. Difference is, LSU will be facing an opponent with a pulse that doesn't turn the ball over very much.
