Tennessee was a ridiculous overreaction.

He was a Tennessee for ONE season. In that season he went 7-5 in the regular season.

I think for them, it was more about the way he left.

Ole Miss? They’re just angry because he gave them a taste of relevance, and now they know that things are about to return to the natural order of things for them.

Correct. I plan on enjoying this for as long as we have the guy. 4 years. 7 years. Whatever.

Exactly what I have been telling others that try to bring up his past.

I don’t see why anyone should use him leaving Tennessee for USC against him. And him staying at Ole Miss that long is pretty impressive. They should be thankful, but of course they hate him. They were fortunate to have him that long.

I have one friend who went to FAU and he never says anything bad about Kiffin.

I never hated Kiffin at other schools.

So many Kiffin haters try to say he will just leave you in so many years. So what???? Coaches rarely stay more than 5 years lately anyways.

If he leaves it likely means he was successful enough to be in demand. If that’s the case then that means he did really well at LSU. I would take that over more fired coaches. Unlike some of these others bitter fans I can appreciate the good times here. Ole Miss fans should be thankful for Kiffin.

I also don’t see why he would leave LSU if he’s that successful to go to any other college. Maybe he wants to try the NFL, but I hope not. He seems perfect for college.

Good comparison.

I will be happy for every game he coaches and years he stays on. I will be sad when it ends. If he goes elsewhere so be it.

Those upset at the other schools have a problem.
