I'm stuck having to go to my girlfriend's cousin's party and its right during the LSU game. How do I get away from the crowd without being rude to watch the game?

Who schedules a party during an LSU football game, unless it is a watching party? Tell her you aren't going or you are watching the game on your phone. If that doesn't fly, dump her.

My go to method is to turn off all phone notifications and watch the game on the DVR after the event. However, this may not really be an option as I suspect other people will be watching the score. Depending on the type of party, it could be possible that they have the game on in the background.

This can't be emphasized enough. If you are a true Tiger fan, finding a girlfriend who shares that passion, at least to some degree, will make your life a whole lot easier. My last girlfriend was an artsy chick who didn't understand organized sports and it was always a drag. My current lady kicks arse and gets hype for the Tigers. You need this type of woman in your life.
