Maybe in some sets, but then that is going to really show tendencies to a high degree. My thought is that there is upside to having an extra playmaker type out there with more chances to touch the ball. I have enjoyed the recent vintage of LSU offenses more than Les Miles era offenses for sure...now if we can just continue what looks like we're heading back in the direction of complimentary football, we'll be cookin' again.

Whatever happened to Tory Carter?

He woke up pissed off.

In reality, modern day full back would be like an old school TE. The modern TE has evolved into a receiver that can block instead of a blocker that can catch.

Pretty sure he was the last one we had. I started a thread on this last month. With the scholarship limits raised, it wouldn't hurt to have a couple here. That big sum o bitch ole miss had running was a handful. Thought we did a great job holding him some what at bay was good

Absolutely. Injured fullback likely cost him the Heisman.

Hester was the quintessential fullback.

I am sure Tommy Banks is a good dude, but God damn hearing the old white dudes calling the radio every week and demanding the ball be handed to their great white hope was exhausting.

Steltz? He was a DB not a fullback. Unless there was another Steltz that I’m not aware of

Baltimore Ravens have a 300 pound full back blocking for a 250 pound running back. It’s a lost art but it’s still in use some places

Well, Banks only ran for 2,300 yards his senior year in HS.
