will not beat Bama without a qb that can run to first downs. Doesn't have to be runner like Jaden Daniels. But must be a good enough runner. Nuss, Howard are good enough. Miles Brennan was not.

Completely disagree. Mett was one play away from beating Bama after throwing for over 400 yards and he had concrete feet.

There's a difference between scrambling and running QBs. Daniels is a running QB, Joe Burrow was a scramble QB. Very few designed runs for him

The bottom line with JD is that he makes JD look good. Look at our WR numbers. They're terrible. He simply doesn't make everyone around him better. He has started four seasons and still doesn't get it.
I appreciate what he did for LSU, but it's time to move on. The true depth of this team is at WR. We have to play to our strength.

If teams respect the pass then we will have a running game. If we can't pass then we will never excell in the run game because you become one dimensional. Can't have a running game when teams stack the box because they are not worried about the passing threat.

Runner vs scrambler. Ok, Burrow was fast enough to get the first down under pressure over and over. Burrow is a good runner.
