It sounded like they watched all the game film and realized who made plays on defense and who didn’t. Perkins, Baskerville, and Ojulari should be on the field at all times on defense.

Uh, they haven’t had Perkins on the field at all times. I mean you can tell when they finally put him in, and how the Defense changes, but they’ve been holding him out, until they need him to go in a wreck shite. Just last game they’ve run with ; without Perkins 17-3, with 3-42 points. And where was he against Tenn…? I think that changes going forward; at least I hope….

What was the alternative strategy?

I think it’s him showing a bit of humility and subtlety admitting their scheme had some flaws like in the first half of ole miss where they admitted they shouldn’t have kept perkins off the field and instead let him run wild in the 2nd half. i’d expect scheme and personnel to look more 2nd half ole miss than anything else

Almost every game, Perkins barely plays in the first half and that is when we are down double digits in the 1st quarter. After the ole Miss game, Kelly said when they put Perkins in the game, they have to take Ojulari out the game. At the end of the Ole Miss game, they had both Perkins and Ojulari on the field and that’s how it should have been.
