It really would be helpful if he could catch. Dude still isn't a true WR.

He may well develop into one but because his hands are pretty average right now, it does make it more challenging to get him the ball where it isn't OBVIOUS we're giving him the ball.

ETA: Yes, I know JJ's passes contribute to his dropsies. Sort of my point. IE. IF YOU need it on the numbers with JJ at QB, you're gonna drop a bunch. I really like RS. He WILL be a good WR.

He just aint yet.

Let Shep run the option. We love to do this. We are terrible at it. Give Shep a shot at it.

It would help if JJ could throw a somewhat accurate pass to him more than just once per game.

it helps wrs when the qb puts the ball on the money are at least in catchable spots.

qbs that are good and accurate end up with wrs dropping less balls even when the pass isnt perfect.

I felt like he dropped a few during the spring game but I you gotta accept that its a new position for him. I just can't help but thing that if you substitute him for JJ tonight and call the exact same game that RS does better.

No argument here.

With JJ at QB, great hands are a full on requirement for our WRs. They almost go into a state of shock when he actually hits them in stride or on the numbers.

this is my problem, but les will continue to stick with jj and never consider rs as a reasonable option to solve the qb issue

In Shep's defense, Jefferson was off tonight and wasn't hitting him between the numbers. The talant is there and because we have so many other great receivers, we don't have to rely on him every pass play.

Shep is great with the ball in his hands. We shouldn't complicate things and just hand him the ball. He really only dropped one ball that he should have dropped IMO though.

I love Shep getting the ball in his hands as well. That being said it's not at the QB position. JJ is our quarterback. Our offense will flourish under his guidance and leadership. He had an off night tonight. Calm down negatigers and stay tuned for a great showing against Miss State

Q how many bad games in a row does he have to have before he's a bad qb?
