Nuss is a decent college qb at this point but without massive improvement he won’t be a championship qb.
He hasn’t hit a deep throw on the money in a few games and most are under thrown
He could improve but time will tell

We lost the game in the first half, left way too many points on the field. We have to be average at least in the run game, that means 125-150 yards per game. Putting way too much on Nuss, throwing 50 times per game will not be at Bama.

The only surprise to me was anyone WAS surprised by what Nussmeier did. It was my biggest concern going into the game, and was also the easiest thing to predict. You had to know it was coming; you just didn't know when or where.
He did the same things against South Carolina, but got bailed out by penalties. He did it again against Ole Miss, but several Ole Miss defensive backs couldn't even hold onto the ball.
The first interception against the Aggies is something NO quarterback should do. Heck, he's actually running toward the sidelines. Just throw it away. Instead, he twists and contorts his body to throw the ball back to the middle of the field to a covered receiver. It's honestly like his mind goes completely blank at times.
And when he makes one horrendous decision and throw, you know others are coming. He's gonna go from bad to worse. It's just who he is. The good Nuss is really good, but the bad Nuss is awful.

I’ll give you the special teams but our Defense being in a position to defend the red zone bc of three interceptions is deflating. I can’t get past it
You don't wanna get past it.
Nuss' two INTs did lead to 14 points, but after he got us back to within a score, the defense IMMEDIATELY shite the bed and gave up a quick score.
The defense had NO ANSWER for a freshman backup QB. We made him look like Jayden Daniels running the ball.
All four areas of the team - offense, defense, special teams and coaching - failed us last night.

He did throw for over 400 yards, though.
So? He threw 3 dumb picks in their territory

Kind of is, though.
None of those were "good" interceptions. Not one.

Every QB, especially one who is a coaches son knows to never throw late over the middle. That was a crucial game changing mistake and It was all his decision

Nussmeier had ample opportunities to run and get the offense out of untenable situations on 3rd down, instead poor, low percentage passes was his answer. The guy is a baby that refuses to scramble, no matter how many times Kelly chews his arse, Nussmeier doesn't have the chest.

We should have seriously considered Sun Belt Billy . Cheaper contract . He could have been a place holder until you got the fish you wanted to land . I am watching Sun Belt Billy’s QB throw a TD pass for the Colts . Our big problem is Scott Woodward throwing crazy money and guaranteed contracts around .

Nuss made bad throwa but the play calling sucks. We are throwing too many long passes. More slants and more to thetightends

The interceptions were 100% Nussmeier's fault.

Did we watch the same game?

bullshite. Last night you saw two completely different games. The game where LSU moved the ball on offense and sustained drives into the red zone and the defense played extremely well. The game was completely in LSU’s control despite a one dimensional offense and leaving points on the field. Then there was the second game where momentum shifted and the A&M crowd was ignited and the Aggies fed off of that. The script got flipped with Nussmeier’s first boneheaded interception and his subsequent mistakes buried LSU.
