I know firing Ensminger is unlikely and would be an oddity since it’s his first year, but

Does the fact that was wasn’t even keen on taking the job to begin with, plus incredibly poor performance, plus his old age make it more likely? I’m loving our recruiting class and it just pisses me off that they’ll probably be wasted again.

If he’s the OC next year it will be O’s last year, hiring O was throwing away three years

I think he retires after the bowl game, which is a good way to go out.

I’m super in the air on O

I genuinely predicted 7-5 on the year, and it looks like 10-2 is possible with 9-3 being a worst case scenario, so i feel like i should be Happy, but with how we’ve done it and the players were bringing in, it just makes me wish even more that we could capitalize on the incredible talent we have.

We don’t have to beat Bama every year. That team is great, but losing by 30 at home is unacceptable, fans and players deserve better.

Maybe but who’s going to come here that wants to run O’s offense?

I usually disagree with you on everything but I'm going to agree here

LSU does need to recruit better in Louisiana. There were at least 3 home players that were starters in Alabama defense. There has to be an offensive coach hire coming. This was horrible to watch. The qb looked like he look all year. Unprepared.

agree. makes me sick seeing those home state guys making plays against us. must lock down LA and get this offense fixed. he can be here a while if he does that. if not then he will be gone.

Ensminger is making what, 1.2mil a year? He's not walking away from that, that's his retirement fund. He signed a 2 yr contract didn't he? He'll play out next year, if the offense improves LSU will extend him, if not, he'll ride off into the sunset after next season.

As bad as that was, 10-2 and sugar bowl is well within reach. Coach o ain’t going anywhere with that record.

Aggies will be tough on the road, but winnable.

Ensminger was a lazy hire, (like coach o was, ) . Hopefully he can go back to TE coach or something. We need to overhaul the offense . This was no better than Les Miles, and just as stubborn. No plan B for when we are getting stuffed.

I can see Ensminger and Sullivan retiring and bringing in Tee Martin as the wr coach and a solid OC/QB coach. Qb development should also be a top priority.

Yeah. Would be an oddity. . . Just like the firing of his predecessor.

I like Slinger he is a tiger. But running a 1995 pro style offense isn’t going to work against Alabama in 2018.
