Ah, since it's football, no one's allowed to care for it. I get it now.

I think you're going to be disappointed, regardless of what school he picks.

It's just crazy to me, and the majority of people, how hung up on this people are. OP is "ready to move on from thinking about it". Like it's keeping him awake at night or some shite

I'm interested to see where he goes as well. But I'll be damned if I get that hung up on it. Kid has never seen the likes of what he's about to go up against if he comes to LSU, and you're already putting 11-1 out there on him.

Dude no offense but are you really that worked up over this? He’s a 21 year old kid who plays football. He ain’t curing cancer. I hope keeping tabs on this situation hasn’t taken you away from your family duties

Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday. Obviously can change if he still isn't sure.

I'll bet you $1,000 that we won't be 11-1 if he comes to LSU.

They had 1 post Joe Burrow with 7 responses. Almost like they aren't even worried about it if he goes there or comes to LSU. Not sure how to take that, but the Bayou Country is some wired up in many ways. You guys are all buzzing like the state bird (Mosquito) and it is funny as hell. Go Tigers! I hope he signs with LSU.

Care about it that much? Yeah, sure - if you're a player or coach - not some random mouth breather.

I'd like him to commit as well but at the end of the day LSU football is just one of my things outside of my family I really enjoy. I get too caught up in it sometimes like we all do but I see my kids growing up and realize what is really important. I'm not gonna let a grad transfer get me too upset. With that being said I really, really ,really want this kid??

Saban has had worse game managers than Brennan.....and won. A lot.

Hope Burrow commits but...

[quote] How sad that someone is passionate about their favorite team and knowing that this one recruit could lead us to being a big program again. [quote]

Huh?

Huh?

Look, I’m down for anything that’s good for lsu football, and I hope the kid picks lsu so we can see if he adds value to the team. But, he couldn’t get on the field at Ohio state, so I just don’t understand the mindset of him all of the sudden making us elite again. If he was that damn good, wouldn’t he have won the job there? He might end up being a good quarterback, and the fact he’s had a few years under a real coaching staff is a plus, but let’s not go overboard here. He’s unproven. He’s no different than a highly rated high school qb coming to lsu. We’ve seen how well those have worked out over the last decade. The same people that are smitten with this dude are the same ones that were convinced Brennan and Narcisse were the answers we’ve been waiting for. Well it’s obvious how they’re progressing based on Ed going balls deep to try and get yet another unproven commodity.

This is a big decision for a young person. I don’t blame him one bit for taking some time to make sure either way.

He was ready to commit after his weekend visit but his dad held him back. He wanted him to step away from the visit and weigh in on the two schools without the emotion. Well at least that's what I was told.

I think I understand where you’re coming from.
It’s the anticipation, like any recruit, in this case a transfer QB.
A lot of people don’t follow recruiting and realize this goes on all the time. It’s different because it’s been covered on tRant so much, so you have a different crowd involved.

I think the majority are just excited to add someone new, with the possibility of him being a missing piece.
I can certainly relate to anyone following this closely, because I’ve spent so much time on the recruitboard over the years.
Also, those hung up on this might just be looking for anything positive around here. With the exception of a few who think we’re doomed without him. We were doomed when O was hired.

I like the idea of Burrow competing for the QB job, but if he decides on Cincy, it’s not like we’re SOL on a QB.

Ready to commit where?

And who told you that?
