Punishing someone for having something on his person for personal protection is such dog shite. Lets punish everyone for locking their car doors too. SAME shite. He took a step to protect himself.....and its a crime??

I wouldn't want to be in New Orleans for Mardi Gras without protection either.
During Mardi Gras is actually one of the few times I would rather not have a weapon on me in New Orleans. You are surround by tens of thousands of people, if shots start ringing off you’re going to run away, not pull out your pistol and start firing into a crowd of people.

Yeah because why wouldn’t he want to protect himself in that shithole dumbass. Seems to me he has a brain.

Sounds like he was just following TD advice to not go to New Orleans empty handed.

So basically he was carrying a pistol w/o a CCP..... gotcha.

Good thing we got Gordon

You would start shooting into a crowd of people?

If he was arrested for concealing the gun that's nothing at all. In fact, it probably reinforces that fact they released him almost immediately so if he had an illegal firearm that was tied back to a murderer he'd be in deep shite. Clearly that's not what happened here.

This is the first true test to see how BK handles situations like this. Will Malik be a guinea pig and be cut from team??
Say what you want about Orgeron letting the inmates run the asylum but Donte Starks was kicked off the team for shite like this.
Posted on 2/21/23 at 1:33 pm to Tshiz
Better than being there without a gun.

I am interested to see what his punishment will be. McGlothern was basically kicked off the team for being late to meetings wasn’t he?

Well you have to have a license to use a car….

This could easily be as simple as conceal without a permit...and I'm sure countless of us have done the same

How on earth would any sensible human think being in NOLA without a gun is a good idea ?!?!?

I personally wouldn’t go anywhere that I feel like I have to carry to be there. Especially as a high profile athlete.

Somebody (sadly) will make this go away/sweep it under the rug as if it never happened.
Nothing sad about it
