fans are just stating facts and concerns. i am on record way back when as saying i hope O wins some nattys. we want LSU to succeed. too many here are just pulling for O much like many did for miles and not LSU.

we want LSU to do well regardless but that will not make us drink the P&G kool aid and not point out facts

yes if he wins big everyone will be happy

Well yea, the debate has never been whether or not those who love or hate O want LSU to win. It's been whether or not HE can lead them to those wins.

Winning cures all, it always has and always will. Can O do it though?

actually, this is claimed every day in pretty much any thread where criticism of O surfaces. It is the O-glers classic strawman at this point.

Before I opened the thread, I thought: "Fire O and start actually contending for championships again?"

I am tired of all of this "posi-O", "nega-O", "cheeri-O" bullshite. We all want LSU to go 14-0 and hoist the championship trophy. I don't think it makes anyone a negative person or a basher of the program when they say that LSU might go 7-5 this year. Anyone with half a brain can look at the schedule and make the case for 5 losses.

Wanting 10 wins and having faith that 10 wins will happen are 2 totally different things. Objectively, I think LSU's defense will be fine...in fact I think it will be above average. Again, anyone with half a brain can look at LSU offensively and have question marks. We are pinning our hopes to an OC that at one point didn't want the job and a QB who has only been on campus for 3 months.

Faith, hope, and desire are all separate things. I hope O is the man. I just don't have a lot of faith that this thing doesn't blow up in everyone's face. That doesn't make me an "O-hater". It makes me an objective realist.

If you are a TIGERS fan, you don't shite down EVERY move the HC makes because no one checked with you about the hire.

no it won't.

there are already more than enough retards in this fanbase who have outed themselves as such going on record saying they "can't wait" for O to prove the doubters wrong, so no, LSU winning will not cure everything, because the mouth breathing retards on either side will be more concerned with "I told you so" instead of what actually happens.

no, not every move.

just the ones where you don't properly vet your biggest hire and then replace him in-house with a guy whos been on the staff for 8 years and has already turned down the job. twice.

You'd be surprised the number of people that think questioning O = wanting him to fail.

I was more speaking from the anti-O perspective. Also, pretty sure about 80% of those types of just fat-gobbles alters

And no one waits for you to take his balls out your mouth to check with you.

I’m a Tigers’ fan and I’d rather shite down your throat so you’ll shut the frick up.

Agree... yet there are some fans that have openly stated they want O to fail. Questioning, criticizing bad, applauding good -- fair game. Wanting failure for any LSU coach makes you not a fan.

ETA-- quote from a poster named "skillet"
quote:

I don't know if "love" is the right word, but a lot of you are correct. LSU needs to fail miserably and we should pull for LSU to lose.

Only because they know he will never win a national championship and they just want this ridiculous experiment over. They would rather rip the bandage off now over letting the wound fester and become infected.

They don't KNOW. Gene Chizik should never have won a national championship, yet he did. So while it may be a long shot, and a safe bet.... wishing LSU fails, makes you "not a fan" bc they don't KNOW shite.
