I just watched their Miss State game, and i didn’t come away impressed by anything. They’re running game is suspect, Ta’amu is 10x better than Franks, and we literally shut him and his two NFL WRs down playing man coverage. I just don’t see them having the WR talent to beat our DBs, and Franks is no Fitz when running the ball. 30-10...Good Guys!

How about they get lucky with a couple jump balls and the refs frick us? That would probably do it.

I expect the tigers will win, but in football nothing is certain.

Mullen has owned aranda recently. That's how. But LSU wins this 19-10

At some point in the year, LSU will play down and it might be this weekend.

It's a good matchup for the Tigers. The Gators have a fast but undersized d-line so spreading them out and running between the tackles should work very well. It sets up playaction and deep shots, so it would be helpful if Tiger WRs don't drop two long TDs like Moo U did. Florida is thin at cornerback, and those guys look much smaller than the LSU WRs.

State also played UF receivers man-to-man and pretty much shut down anything more than 5 yards past the LOS. Franks is improving and more mobile than he looks, but he'll force things if he has to play from behind.

If LSU protects the football well, they'll win.

No offense, but you have no idea wtf you are talking about But you already knew that. One win vs Aranda’s defense. One.

Particularly not another SEC team at its own stadium.

What strange is that they use the word as an exclamation. I know we live in a an ironic culture but they took the most plain word that means being exact. So strange the way it is used now.

I agree with most of this. OM QB is better. FL WRs are just as good as OM. FL running game is slightly better. FL defense is much better.

I think Aranda will simply play close to the LOS and mix coverage while bringing the rush from all angles. I also think LSU will improve the pass rush this week. LSU has responded every week with what needs to be worked on. I expect the same. FL QB is not even close to the Athlete that Ta'amu is.

Leave 1 safety deep on most occasions but I would bring him up as well on delayed plays. Bring lots of pressure and make FL QB throw the ball quickly down field and let our DBs do their thing. This week is all about getting to the QB and stop the run.

Unless FL can get a pass rush with 4 then it's just going to be a long day for them. I don't think their DL is any better than Miami's. Our offense is much more developed now so I just don't think we'll have all that much trouble driving the ball downfield. We've added some more dimensions to the offense with McMath so I'm looking forward to how we build upon last week.

Plus Florida's run defense isn't very good. Snell is a great RB but he's not this Elite type of back. He's patient, smart, runs hard and has good vision. That's basically our top two RBs. I think we will mix it up again, giving it to 10 different players while also finding different ways to run the ball on the outside to set up the inside run and vise versa. Use PA to get guys open.

OL is getting healthy again so that should help with their good DEs. I don't see it either unless we turn the ball over. Mullen is a great coach but he was playing a totally different LSU team last year so if those FL fans are counting on that and their home field advantage to put them over the top then they'll be in for a surprise.

This team will have to come out playing hard for 4 quarters there's no doubt about that but if they do their jobs then I don't see how Florida can win either. Plus Stevens is back and I've been looking forward to having him back playing. I think he adds a different dimension to the defense when he's playing. I think it'll be something like 33-13 or 27-10. Something to the affect.
