So salty.

quote:

"I just think some NFL scouts or people who follow college football in general, they don't even mention me up with Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook, all these other top premier backs," Clement said. "It's kind of a smack in the face to not even be mentioned with these guys. I've been here before some of these guys who came in, like Fournette. But he's gained his respect."

quote:

"There's so much that they hype up on social media, whether it's, 'Oh, look at Fournette do this squat, 405 pounds 20 times,'" Clement said. "I can do it, but I'm not going to display it. It's fine. The SEC has their talent, and I respect their style of play. ... It doesn't mean we have to let the world see that before the season starts."

quote:

Sometimes, in the pre-dawn hours when Clement feels tired, when he wants to hit the snooze alarm and sleep just a little longer to avoid a workout, he'll jolt himself awake with one question: What's Fournette doing?

The same "Me" generation that works for free (internships) more often and at comparatively lower wage entry-level jobs for college educated candidates than any generation prior?

Yeah. They're so entitled.

I know he hasn't gotten a ton of carries in his career so far, partially because of injuries, but you're not going to (nor should you) be compared to 2 of the top 4 RBs in the nation when you haven't even had a 1,000 yard season.

Liberal boy

Because I think broad generalizations (that have little or no objectively factual basis) of a huge group of people (of which I am a part) are bullshite, that means I'm "liberal"? I don't think you know what that word means.

Ideologically speaking, I'm a staunchly middle of the road libertarian. Nice try, though.

They dont have a choice but to work for free/low wages, so that makes them entitled? Please explain your logic there.

What's LF doing? Looks like Fournette is establishing his residence all up in your head.

Is there a statistic that backs this up? I mean, if you think that finance degree means you should be the bank president by the time you're 25 I'm not sure what to tell you. Do you know of any specific examples?

The funniest part is I wouldn't be surprised if Fournette doesn't even know who Clement is. And not because he's cocky or a jerk or anything.

I got that Clement needs to improve his social media game to get more attention. If only there was an alumni of Wisconsin who is all over social media and playing in the NFL who could help?
