How could you get this quote so wrong?

He not only got the phrasing wrong but that's the worst misspelling of Ronnie Van Zant that I've ever seen

There's also a fourth, and don't even think for a second that this has gone away:

Under the table payments.

Right, but that's not all of the money. The Athletic Department isn't going to voluntarily spend more money than it has to. It’s not profit sharing, its rev sharing. Any shared money adds to the expense column.

The athletic department doesn’t have to spend any money on rev share. So I’d say that they definitely are going to spend more than they have to.

All I want for Christmas is for this NIL bullshite to go away. It has destroyed what we all once loved.

This is incorrect. If the rules emerging from the House settlement are actually followed, direct payments to players cannot exceed the revenue cap. NIL deals are separate and do not count towards the revenue sharing cap. However, all NIL deals in excess of $600 dollars must be reviewed and approved by a clearinghouse to ensure they are legitimate and constitute a fair market exchange of value. Collectives and other sources cannot simply pay players in excess of the cap, unless they decide they want to break the rules and cheat, of course.

Well. We spent $18 million last year. This year we have 25 million to spend. We have a program called bayou traditions that’s a collective. We have a livvy dunne fund. So I’d say it sounds like you don’t know shite about frick. LSU is giving lane the keys to the bank with his contract.
