He needs to let it fly. He did Bama and ole miss. He didn’t against Arkansas or aTm. If anything this UGA OSU game is showing is that you have to throw it in rhythm and on time and especially over the middle

Baloney! Not when evaluating a player. If a QB throws for 400 yards in a game, goes 30 for 40, and 5 of the incompletions were drops in the end zone, then that is a great QB performance, in spite of generating zero points.

It really looks like he has the arm strength to make the intermediate throws and many of the deep throws when he pushes into the throw. I'm sure that the coaching staff is all over it and im no expert, but it always seems like his feet are behind his brain and his arm. When he steps into his throw and his plant knee isn't locked out, the throw is pretty decent (i.e deep ball to Hilton against MSU). It just looks like he throws so many balls with most of his weight on his back leg and/or while he's falling away. Maybe it's due to a lack of confidence in protection and the combination of his bad footwork, but the clock seems to be a tick off. I hope he finds that rhythm.

Daniels is absolutely capable of making these plays that CJ Stroud is making against UGA.

Are you kidding, or drunk.

When listening to Bennett describe his last touchdown, "He wasn't open when I released the ball.
I just threw it to where I knew he could catch it. He made the catch.
Does that describe Daniels, in your wildest dreams.

Daniels just got sacked again.

I'm no JD5 or Nuss basher, I like them both and just want what is best for the team (I won't claim to know that I know which is best). I do notice that Nuss hits his landmarks much more fluidly in his dropbacks and makes the throw when the route is predetermined by alignment/coverage. Nuss would definitely be much more likely to hit his third (or more) step and throw a receiver open. He also may fling it with three guys smothering the receiver. It's all a "pick your own poison" kind of thing, I guess. CBK has always favored ball security, which led to some back and forth at QB at ND.

He threw for 200 yards and a TD in the first half against this defense 3 weeks ago and wasn’t 100% healthy.

Keep up okay? That doesn’t count because reasons.

That blocked FG TD fiasco and the freak INT were an insanely bad cap to a terrible 1st half.

I know it has to be hard for some of you to get through a day lol. With those numbers from the QB, it would be inevitable that points would be scored. JD doesn't put up these numbers. Regardless of your fallacious opinion, points are king and are all that matter for a Football Team.

If you think that happens then you are one of the dumbest fricking people on the planet. We are at JD ceiling. Honestly he should have declared for CFL/XFL draft and gone on to smaller and better things. He shouldn’t and wouldn’t win the starting job next year, if the competion was fair

I'm curious. Why do you think the coaching staff will conduct an unfair competition? What would their motivation be?

I hope JD takes that leap next year

I hope one of our QB's takes that leap next year

One of the 3 competitors for QB is absolutely capable of making great plays next season

We have WR talent, and I want to see Daniels, Nuss or Howard letting it rip next year

Just pulling for our QB next season to step up to that next level, it may just be anyone of them.

Let's quit taking sides and stop ignoring all 3 have that potential

If he plays like he did against florida , Bama , and ole miss he will be in New York for Heisman Saturday.
BUT.... it sure does look like he regressed late In the season.

Not when rating qbs or an offenses ability to move the ball. Are you new to the sport?
Are you suggesting
QB A- 8/23 for 29 yards 1 td
Is better than
QB B- 19/23 for 220 yards 0 tds?

You know since scoring is all that matter when rating a qbs performance or an offenses ability to move the ball.

I dont understand how this isnt the opinion of every lsu fan. I don't care who is lsu's qb as long as he is playing hard and giving lsu its best chance to win.
