There is a small percentage of their fan base who despise LSU, and make them look idiotic. You can say that about every fan base though, especially LSU.

ULL got drummed by Miss St, I doubt there is a single ULL fan that expects them to win, or even make it a close game.

So what exactly would Bama crushing them do? Absolutely nothing. If you want to laugh at ULL, laugh at them for getting smashed by Coastal Carolina. That might at least ruffle their feathers a little bit.

Hey gump wannabe, I don't care who the hell they're playing. If you're a true LSU fan, you never root for Bama and Saban.

I have a question about ULL. Or whatever the hell they call themselves. I know they changed their name from USL to UL-LA and that was because Northeast changed theirs to UL-Monroe. I havent lived in Louisiana lately so forgive me for asking, but I see UL-Lafayette as Louisiana and then see UL-Monroe. I knew old governor Kathleen Blanco back in her day wanted so desperately for them to be the flagship university of the state. Did something change recently because I see them referred to as Louisiana. Sorry if on the wrong board, but was looking for an answer.

Yeah but it's like a little mentally challenged relative who hates you because he's jealous. I would still like him and root for him.

Exactly my point. They don't even know what their name is.

I was at that game. McKnight had like 200 all purpose yards and a couple touchdowns.
I think Hoover was up 14-0 and Curtis came roaring back and took control.

I’m pretty sure McKnight scored 3 TDs in that game. One was a rushing TD; another was a defensive TD (fumble return), and then he had like either a punt block and return for a TD, or maybe it was just a punt return for a TD... Either way, McKnight destroyed Hoover.

As opposed to the twinkie powerhouses of La.Tech, Southeastern and Rice, huh? (Bama was playing Louisville in Orlando while we were playing Miami in Dallas for the opening week neutral site game)

Another thread on the Tiger Rant about how UL is so far beneath LSU. For an “inconsequential” school, the Cajuns sure get a high degree of obsession from you guys.

Every damn week we get another one of these threads.

I like Napier. ULLs new coach. now if it was Hudsepth then 100-0 would be awesome

2-2 and almost lost to 1-3 WKU.
La Tech is ranked 25 S&P spots above UL, and Rice only 25 spots below them, for perspective.

I know they will take their foot off the brakes at half when it’s already 56-0, but god I hate ULL. Please shut them and their insufferable fans up. And here’s to a shutout too

Here's the deal... What you say is true. I grew up in Lafayette and know ULL fans hate LSU. I did a few Summer sessions there to improve my GPA.

I have lived out of state now for over 30 years and my second daughter has high functioning autism. She did ok academically but not great. B/C student with a 21 on her ACT. My oldest is grad student at U Maryland and soared academically.

My middle daughter has always loved Lafayette. My parents treat the kids like royalty and they love the food and culture there. My middle daughter decided her junior year she wanted to attend ULL instead of a directional school in Illinois (where we lived at the time). She applied to ULL and was granted in by exception because she is autistic and I was considered to be a legacy simply because I graduated from another LA State university.

They gave my daughter in state tuition and she made the marching band which pays $4800 a year towards her housing costs. She is in Bama now and will attend the game. She knows they are going to get "served" by Alabama and is not happy about it.
She has done well academically so far as a true freshman. All A's and a B's in Math.

I have no bad things to say about ULL. They have been good to me and my family. My daughter loves it there. She is not allowed to say UL in front of me and my wife (LSU Band member and Alumnus too).

Ease up on ULL. They have some jealousy issue to work out. They have done right by me and my family.
