JJ has given Reaves plenty of rope to earn playing time last year, and has done the same this year. He's pretty bad defensively, and some of his competition is also hitting better than him this year. Unless he gets red hot at the plate I'm sure he will phase out of opportunities as the season goes.
No issues with the opportunity given to anybody right now though.

I don't think you can say that yet. I think as long as he makes good contact regularly, will continue to use him as a left PH. He's got enough experience that he can do what he needs to when called upon, but not expect to be a centerpiece. Every team needs these guys

Saw him live. Not impressed. Looked bad at the plate and that was against pretty bad pitching honestly. Had a error today also at third. He just needed to make contact on the strikeouts to move the runners and didn't. Just my observation watching him and this is subject to change because that's what we tiger fans do. Lol
