True but he still passed for under a hundred. The oth.er kid would get would have caused a huge shite storm with the same performance. The botched snapped would have been blamed on him. Its nothing new that the starting qb gets criticized

Lee is the most unhappy QB I have ever seen. You can see how unhappy he is all over his face.

i believe JLEE did dive into the pile on the fumble where T-Bobs big arse knocked the ball out of his hands and ware recovered.
he also ran a sneak near the goal-line that ended up wiht him and some oregons defenders talking smack. geaux lee!!!!!!!!!!

well then we might as well shut this board down?
i have watched other qb's and notice something different about this one. he seems hesitant to take a hit at times. i may be wrong, he may simply have a desire to skip hop and dance after his throws hoping to become the next big thing on dancing with the stars, since i am not a dance coach or a qb coach i would not have a clue.
i also do not have a clue why some can not be objective when it comes to the qb play of jj and jl. seems as though if you have anything less than praise to say about them someone will think you are hating on them. can you just be objective and note that neither of these guys are great qb's?
You are building a strawman argument. My implications were that you probably didn't have enough to base your suspicions.
It has been pointed out in multiple posts in this thread about Lee standing a taking a hit and still delivering the throw.
I am debating your inference about his "toughness" - had you merely said that he is not a good QB as shown by his numbers in comparison to others - then it is a valid argument and folks can either agree or point the flaws with numbers or rating fallacies.
Instead you chose to arrive at "lack of toughness" based on nothing and that is illogical given that he has shown comparable behavior/reactions with other QBs.

does anyone on here think maybe his coachs have told him not to get hit and to stay healthy.
Its not like we have a stable of QB's behind him.
Mett-has not played a D1 snap yet
Rivers-high school player last year
randall-high school player last year
I know he throws off his back foot and he has happy feet, but if he takes the big hit and gets hurt we have no proven D1 QB to takes snaps.
In the past if JJ had been hurt then LEE was always there ready to step in. Just saying.

would you call drew brees scared to get hit when he was flushed out of the pocket in the red zone the other night? as has been stated, in lee's defense, i saw several instances where there were poor rout running assignments. but i saw a qb that keeps his eyes downfield and has the ability to check down and complete those passes. the average fan certainly recognizes that he has a tendency to get "happy feet" at times. however, he has not had a consistently significant amount of time under center to iron out these tendencies you cite as just a "scared" qb. As the season progresses, i believe we will see JL develop a rhythm, hang in the pocket, and put up respectable numbers as a result of: the respective players understanding and executing their assignments, building chemistry and confidence, and play-to-play/week-to-week game time experience to refine his technique. remember, they had a relatively short amount of time to make considerable changes in the game in plan to work to JL's strengths. this offense will continue to evolve into a positive direction. i hope to God you feel like a douche bag after this spectacular season there statmaster.

You are not worth a explanation for that remark StatMaster. Jarrett Lee is not scared like you implied. You obviously are a wast of time.

He just doesn't have the moxie, and unfortunately, that is NOT something you can teach. You either got it, or you don't. And he doesn't.
For a MAN to come back and stay as a Tiger from the type of season that Lee had as a freshman and take the kind of verbal assaults that have been thrown at him over the years...I would say he has more moxie than some jerk hiding behind his computer and posting such dribble. Stat, if you have the so called moxie that you spout off about...tell Lee face to face instead of hiding behind your computer.

So you don't remember Jefferson constantly running and then going out of bounds short of the first to avoid contact?

Get over it and get behind him. He's our guy.
I believe he has a better chance of winning a Championship than our "former" starter. I will also say here and now that we will see less delay of game penalties with Lee behind center.
I'll believe that until I see differently.

This is true. Players had play and on the line ready to go with fifteen seconds left on play clock. Don't know what the biggest reason for that is, the new QB or the new OC, but it was nice to see.

I must admit I dont want to see Lee suddenly start taking hits to make some of you happy with his manhood. We have no other tested QB.

Right....after a great win over Oregon, lets be very critical of our starting QB.......
