It’s a forum, do you think people come on here for real life advice or to bitch and celebrate with people that have a common interest? Because seems like you take this online forum way to serious

2. Jay doesn't plan on pitching anyone other than Evans, Cowan, and Eyanson tonight. So buckle in if one is a little wild. There aren't better options to go to

Correct

1. Can Frey (with pretty good speed for a big guy) not play 3rd base in place for Braswell? I get Reaves is a liability but we saw Tommy White (a bigger guy) hold down third base well.

You had 12 hours and came up with this idea?

If it’s a close game in the 8th I can see AE getting an inning or two, Jay had Skenes warming in game 3 of CWS before Guidry closed it out

When people post stupid shite I will say it's stupid. I even gave a measured response the first time and you continued to repeat the stupid idea.

I'll give you the same advice I give most people in this situation: Don't be dumb.

Give me a better one, outside of keeping Braswell at third (because I know that’s what’s realistically going to happen) give me a better theoretical idea

I think the only option is to try to find a guy who can hit and play 2nd. 3rd is a harder position to field, but Dickinson has been too good at 2nd to move him to 3rd. So, I don’t think there is much of an option at this point for this roster.

Well on Freys perfect game profile from high school they have him listed as C/1B, 3B, RHP so he definitely has experience playing 3rd

Jesus Henry Christ

Playing 3B part time at Rosepine frickin high school isn’t nearly the same as playing at the D1 level

I swear man some of yall are completely clueless.

It was an idea and I was asking for feedback, I wasn’t saying it’s going to happen because I know Braswell has blackmail on Jay or something and Jay would never move him but it’s fun to think about and talk over.

To me the simple adjustment is this:

1 Curriel LF
2 Milam SS
3 Dickinson 2B
4 Frey RF
5 Larson DH
6 Hernandez C
7 Jones 1B
8 Reaves 3B
9 Stanfield CF

Reaves should be able to hit this midweek pitching and give you offense even if he commits an error. It should make up for it. We really have not had a ton of balls to 3B and can bring in Braswell later.

Larson to start since he had a hit last night against this crap pitching and I think we can produce against it while leaving us flexibility to use Brown later since they will be limited on lefties. I am not really worried about Pearson's bat and rather see Larson's.

Jones will at least always be a power threat down at 7. Reaves will have a power threat at 8. Leave Stanfield to be in front of Curriel. As he is killing this junk pitching and Milam has barely gotten out all weekend so he can at least protect Curriel unlike jones.

Frey has played RF. It’s not like Brown or Pearson are all league defenders out there. We need flexibility in the bats.

See this is how you respond to a theoretical post. I like it and my point exactly was we need flexibility in the batting order. Thanks for not being a condescending a-hole and replying with your thoughts

yep, plus those sites contain more, hype propaganda, and out right lies than a Joe Biden campaign ad, there was a video on here a few weeks ago from one of the local sports shows about one of our pitchers talking about making a hype video to market himself to LSU, he said he lied and said he had a forkball on it just because he thought it sounded cool

I wouldn’t do anything but if a gun is to my head and I had to do something different I would move Dickinson to 3rd and Old Pearson to 2nd.

Skenes did that on his own. Jay told Skenes that he would pitch ONLY if the score was within a couple of runs. The game was out of reach, and Skenes went to the pen without being told to. Dude is a beast and wanted in on the action despite us being up by 8 at the time, I believe.

Did not know that. That is a boss arse move. “What’s coach going to do?” “ I’m on the first flight to Pittsburgh anyway”

It's probably a bullpen day for Eyanson. He can throw an inning
