I guarantee that you are dwelling on this much more than they are. Get it off your chest. They will be like "Huh", and you will feel much better.

No. ...and have no idea why he would post it. I don't understand the point here.

It's an irrelevant story and so what if his parents didn't enjoy him screaming at the TV. Or why he would send an awkward text to his mother.

Weird shite.

So during the 4th quarter interception at the 1 yard line I scream out "YES WE GOT IT!" and jump up and down.

My parents (both LSU alum) look at me like I'm crazy, and my dad says "QUIET DOWN!" and he and my mom go in their bedroom to watch the rest of the game.

I am left to watch the end of regulation and OT by myself in their living room and I honestly left as the officials were deciding what to do on Ware's run to the 7 (or was it a TD?).

I ultimately heard in my car that we won 9-6 in OT as I was pulling out of their driveway.

Here is the text that I sent my mom (still unreturned) "I love you as parents but I am really stunned and puzzled at your reaction to my celebration of our season-saving INT. We are LSU alumni!"

Anybody with thoughts? Should I just let this go? I love my parents - I'm 33 and they're both in their 70's. It should have been a magical night but somehow - insanely - despite LSU winning and me winning big money on the outcome - I feel like shite.

Really bad idea to post this here man.

That being said you might have just startled them. I would have just laughed it off and enjoyed the game. My house was rocking all night and loud as hell, including myself.

Seriously it's not a big deal at all.

It's because Alejandro is an attention whore. He usually confines his crap to the Saints board, and those of us who are regulars there are sick of it. This "Sean Payton is slacking and needs to be called out" trolling is a good example.

Damn, my grandparents up until there 70's were really different(gave up their tickets when they were diagnosed with Alzheimer's) Then my Dad is much more into football than me and ties his emotions into the game more than I do. My grandpa used to be told he was too loud at LSU basketball games, and his season tickets at LSU games were as close to the student section as he good get. He loved the noise and getting into it. Funny thing was he was a Tulane alum, and other than his youngest son being a Special teams player for the team in the 80s he didn't really have ties to the school.
So I was raised to be loud at games and cheer, and that you are expected to loose your voice when your team plays.

I don't see how that could cause grief with your parents unless there was more to the story.
