before going full and continuous retard?

schedule is tough. but I like our coaching staff. defense is going to be great! not good, but great. I expect to have really good special teams as well.

as for offense - we know that O was at SoCal during the glory days. he likes that passing game. we are going to have it this year. sure, brennan will make some mistakes, but I don't think we'll take the ball out of his hands. we will attack, attack, attack with every weapon we've got.

it could be a special season. I am sure it's going to be fun.

I understand everyone needs to rant, but gee whillikers - the same old same old every day 24/7? there are just too many positives to stay that down, imho. Geaux tigers!

Why do we need to wait when you already started?

I get your angle here, but this thread everyday starts the stuff your asking to get rid just as much if not more than the anti O threads.

Outside of Aranda and Raymond(Les' guys), this might be the weakest staff in the SEC

After this season it's going to be the same line; wait until we get the 2019 class in, then we'll really turn it around.

I'm not optimistic about next season...and I'm not really looking forward to it because of that. I'm hoping to be surprised.

I think we will throw the ball a lot more this year. And, so we'll accumulate more yards and TDs. But, a lot is going to go wrong, IMO. I'm basing this assumption on who is driving the bus on offense.

So-called "LSU" fans are the most miserable people walking the face of the earth. They can't go an hour without being unhappy. AND you want them to wait months to display their wretched outlook.

Having a reason has nothing to do with it for these sad-sacks.

Exactly and saying otherwise is just being a pure homer. When your HC and OC were sought after by no one it speaks volumes.

We may be successful next year, no denying that. And I think that anyone who writes off next season prematurely is a dipshit considering the fact that we MAY win big.

But at the same time, anyone who isn’t a complete fricking retard can see that the hirings and firings weren’t done in a well thought out or rational way, will not be done in a well thought out or rational way for the foreseeable future, and that we have some serious good ole boy issues going on right now. You’re the moron if you can’t see that. We’re on the cusp of every stride that Nick Saban and Les Miles made with this program being erased and us being right back to square one I.E. 1993. Noise needs to be made until our clown show administration is shaken up.

ensminger- will be recruiting players that weren't alive the last time he was a failed full time OC.

orgeron- has proven to be a horrible HC

aranda- great coach

yeah if you're a homer.

let me ask you a question.

we just played the easiest schedule since the turn of the century and we lost 4 games. what looks positive to you about next year?

8 of our 9 wins were against teams that finished with AT LEAST 6 losses.

5 of our 6 sec wins came against sec teams with 6 losses.

That is a very stupid reason for hiring someone. The HC and OC showed what they could do while in the same positions in 2016.

Dumbass #1: "I don't know why they hired the SE as the OC."

Casual observer: "Maybe because when he held the position in 2016 the LSU team broke four all-time school records offensively, averaged 465 yards and 32 points per game."

Dumbass #1: "But he wasn't highly sought after by a multitude of other teams. This sucks."

Coach Eaux almost didn't hire the current OLine coach. Yes, he has a super bowl ring and gave up the fewest sacks in the SEC at UT and the Pac12 at USC. But when they checked if he was highly sought after it was a major obstacle to overcome. There was a high school OLine coach in South Dakota who was sought after and he almost got the job.

Let me ask you something, how much confidence do you have in Coach O?

So why wasn't he hired as the OC back then? Spoiler alert, you will have no good answer to this question.

I know you think you're helping O out but you're just making everything worse.

Hey Derek, do you know enough about football to understand that a full time offensive coordinator has duties that extend beyond what an interim OC does? And that being a playcaller is in no way comparable to installing your own offense in the offseason and performing all of the duties related to that? The fact that you’re so close to the program and still so clueless is scary

I don't know. Maybe the D-line with Rashard Lawrence being joined by Breiden Fehoko. Greedy and Devin returning for their second seasons as starters. An O-line with depth and a new OLine coach who has one heck of a resume. A new kicker to replace the two kickers who gave up 36 free points last season including 3 missed extra points. A new though experienced WR who was a Biletnikoff award candidate two seasons ago.

There is much more.

Whether someone has confidence in O or the staff it does not matter.
You will be proven correct or wrong depending on your point of view next season

BUT THIS IS THE STAFF, all the bitching in the world is not going to change it.
