I don't know about yall, but with the transfer portal my main questions are:
-Who is new?
-Where did they come from?
-Who is OG?
-Who is from Louisiana?
So I took LSU's roster data and created a google sheet (I hate google sheets) with all the info.
CY transfers are current year transfers. Guys that transferred in this year.
PY transfers are prior year transfers. Guys that transferred in prior to this year.
EDIT - I managed to find a burner gmail with no identifying info. Here is the actual sheets link. I think you should be able to sort/filter?

Call me old fashion, but I HATE the double-numbers (i.e. two Nos. 1, 2, 3, etc.). Hell, according to the roster at the moment LSU has THREE No. 6's

I was thinking the same thing. I get if you have one guy on offense and one on defense with the same number. I dont get how you have 2 guys on the same side of the ball with the same number.

You see this on same side of the ball with walk-ons that will never play, is that the case here? Or deep roster position redshirts.

These are the current double-numbers:
1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 13, 15, 19, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 32, 36, 39, 47, 55, 80, 87, 88, 90, 99.
Then you have the rare triple number: 6 (Dottery, Longstreet, Watkins).
Just looking at No. 6 alone, Dottery and Watkins will get a lot of PT, if not start, and it is entirely possible (maybe likely) Longstreet is the No. 2 QB. Many of the lower numbers are guys who will start/play. Just not on the same side of the ball.
Does it make much of a difference in the game? Not really...until someone on special teams forgets to put on the oversized jersey with a different number because two guys with the same number are on that unit. That happens more than a few times a year across all of CFB.

Great work on the roster, thanks.
Noticed that we have exactly the same number of kids from Mississippi on the roster as we have from Quebec. (One each)

I'm guessing so. Longstreet having the same number as a receiver is strange though.

Every one of our NCs this century has had a triple number on the team.
2003 #8 (Terrell Clayton, Ty Barrett, & Jack Hunt) & #35 (Brandon Nowlin, Andre Boagni, & Mark Martin)
2007 #17 (Josh Graham, T.C. McCartney, & Shomari Clemons) & #30 (Chad Baniecki, Josh Jasper, & Joe Maltempi)
2019 #3 (AJ Aycock, Tyrion Davis-Price, & JaCoby Stevens)
Now I'm not saying it's a sign but

TJ Dottery will get #40
Husan Longstreet will get #14
Whit = #18
TDG = #7
