I hope we beat bama but it wot be because of Jefferson.

He won't really lose us a game but he hasn't shown me he can win a game when it is on him.

Bama has scored 134 point in 3 games.
Bama has allowed 1 TD and 19 total points in 3 games.

LSU has scored 86 points in 3 games.
LSU has allowed 30 points in 3 games.

We do have a very good defense. So does Bama.
They are number 1 in the nation in scoring defense.

They also have a solid, experienced QB and an incredible running game.

I think it will be a great game and hopefully very close.

Why do you firmly believe we will beat Bama this year?
What have we done on the field that has been supierior to Bama?
Or are you saying you just "feel" we're going to win?

Same "D" they had the last two years dude, in fact this years version is considered weaker than the last two years. They BARELY won both of the last two years and this is our BEST team in the last 3 years so whats got you so scared princess?

Wha?

OK... Don't ruin the night with silliness. LSU has a lot to prove before we can begin to say stuff like that.

The schedule has hardly been equal. Not knocking what the tide has done. But not knocking what LSU has done either.

I like our chances vs the Tide myself.

All these little punks that come on here all skurd of Bama need to GTFO. Have some confidence in your team and realize that Bama is not that great. They are beatable like any team. PP will put Julio on lock and Mathieu will have Maize lookin stupid then Claiborne will make sure Hanks doesnt get involved. Then our D-line is gonna punish Mc-fagget and Kelvin Sheppard is gonna be in Ingram's grill the ENTIRE game. I cant wait till they roll into Death Valley.

What a bunch of pussies in this thread!

Of course we can beat them an I believe we will... They are worse than last year and we are better than last year... It can go either way easily and all these frickers with their tails between their legs need to GTFO

Duke scores 13. At home. JJ and GC will be lucky to put Jasper in FG range. Our D gives up 13.
13-3 Bammer.
Same as UF game last. Infuriating.

There's nothing silly about what will be a top 10 LSU team taking down Bama at HOME.

There's PLENTY silly about assuming LSU is going to beat Bama with Jefferson's arm, an arm that even the coaches are tentative to use too much. He's made improvements, but this was State. Just saying... It's a long way down. Might want to take it easy.

We did last year with key players hurt in the fourth quarter! Plus we are at home with a bye week to prepare for them!

I would say that Penn St was a tougher opponent than UNC. Our other opponents were probably better than theirs however.

I'm just trying to understand why someone would firmly believe we'd beat Bama.

JJ had LSU well in the game with a NC Bama team last year, at BDS, with a shitty oline and a bend but don't break D.
