LSU is committed to saving money

So you’re saying a college coach with one natty is worth more than one of the best professional coaches of all time?

7.5 doesn’t bother me as much as 10 years would.

bullshite. We would of paid $7.5M. We just wouldn’t be stupid enough to make it for 10 years.

You are so butthurt today

And truly ignorant if you see nothing wrong with a $75 million, 10 year contract for a college football head coach.

Jimbo at A&M has a better chance of working out than 0 at LSU

Because all of that money we saved on Orgeron has led to him running off his high paid OC after 1 year

So myself
Matt Mascona
Ryan Theriot
And pretty much every major sports reporter in the county is “truly ignorant”
Okay bud

The only thing that really matters to the Aggies is outdoing the Longhorns. One upmanship is the goal.

I respect Jimbo, and his record is impressive, but I can't shake the feeling that he just won the lottery. Can't blame him for not wanting Alleva as his boss, either.

Only time and results will tell if that $75 million was well spent.

My guess is NO because I don't see Jimbo winning the SEC in the next decade. In fact, I think it is less than 50-50 that JF makes ten years as Aggie HC.

sure it is rediculous no man is worth that much money.

Just like Drew Brees, Tom Brady, LeBron James or any of these athletes are really worth what they make. It is not like they are saving lives or anything they are just playing ball.

But at the end of the day more power to them, if someone is willing to pay them that I have no right to complain.

They said that about LSU when we hired Saban in 1999. Everyone said we were over paying. We were. But we had to find a way to win and be relevant again. TAMU did the same.

Yes they over paid but were in a position of weakness. Straight up Jimbo never leaves FSU for A&M
