Mikie would not want to go to play for that piece of shite school why you think he left and didnt go to ULL

I don't know. I sure saw him enough at the games when he was in high school. But everytime you put down UL, your making LSU look even worse, since i think UL did beat LSU this season again.

The absurd base running efforts the last few games. The play last night when the catcher was 3 feet from the plate and Mahtook tried to score.

you're going to bash him for being aggressive when we can't score a run to save our life most games?

Back to this.

How can you tell if he's miserable? Serious question. To me he always seems to have the same expression on his face, even when he yells and flexes after he scores. Not trying to hate on the kid, I'd love a starting 9 of all Mahtooks.

ya'lls? I don't have any, and i'm sure neither do you, unless you were part of the team.Don't really care about winning the world series. As long as UL beats LSU, its all good lol

I was just watching today and he looked defeated. Im not hating on him AT ALL! i wish every player on the team had the intensity and abilities of Mikie. I just think it's sad for his (almost positively) last season at LSU to go this way... Hopefully these last few series they can turn it around though and end on a better note!

Most likely everyone on that team is miserable right now. They should be.

I remember playing on good teams and playing on bad teams. When you realize there is little chance for a post season, you become miserable and start going through the motions.

That must absolutely suck as a fan. I guess if you don't know anything else, this is as good as it gets.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that you were hating on him. I was just saying I'm not trying to insult the guy by saying he always has the same expression on his face.

Aggressive play and stupidity are 2 different things. Trying to stretch singles into doubles and doubles into triples is aggressive play. Diving in the OF to make a spectacular play, thats aggressive. But whatever he called that running home on that play is not what you call aggressive. Its called DUMB. Coach said just that on the pregame today. He said that that play was inexplicable and he doesn't know what he was thinking there.

And please Lester, go tell him what I said. Doesn't bother me.

And there is no reason to feel "sorry" for Mikie let alone any of those players. There is way too much bashing of all these kids. To bash some and to feel sorry for others is crazy.

Don't feel sorry for Mahtook. The man has lost his father and his mother was very sick at one time. I am sure he has other things on his mind besides baseball. Mikie has given everything to this team. He has carried his weight. It is not his fault if his teammates can't pick it up a notch. Maineri is not helping the situation either. Mahtook will use a pen and sign his name to a sheet a paper and make more money that you or I will in 20 years. I like Mahtook. He is not the problem in this program. Look at the man wearing the number "one" uniform. The buck stops with Maineri. His recruiting knowledge put these players at LSU. the coach is responsible for overseeing everything. This year is done. Maybe next year, we can close our eyes and cross our fingers and "wish" for a better season.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but no it doesn't. You see, i have a life. I don't live and die for sports. I'm also not a bandwagon jumper. I root for my favorite teams win or lose. I don't know much, but i do know i like it when UL beats LSU...

You should root for your favorite team. But if beating an in-state school is the pinnacle of your season, as opposed to going to the CWS, or winning a championship, it doesn't bode well for the expectation that ULL will ever be more than a middle of the road instate school.
