I feel better about this team’s post season chances today than I did Sunday

We hit 12/33, 11/37, and 12/38 in the 3 games in Hoover, and we got great outings out of everyone not named Herring/Dutton.

The hitting with RISP thing sucked, but that tends to straighten itself out in baseball.

Agreed. Getting lots of hits and puitcging is where it needs to be

I truly believe the bats won’t go cold at home. If the pitching travels from Hoover to BR we’re going to be fine.

You shouldn’t.

LSU in May has been average at best.

Southeastern W
Auburn 1-2 (5th in SEC)
Northwestern St. W
Piss State 1-2 (13th)
McNeese W
UGA 2-1 (11th)
USC W (6th)
Arky L (2nd)
Aggie L (10th)

8-7 overall
5-7 SEC Play

It hasn't straightened out for this team. They've been in a rut for a while. Idk, something isn't clicking.

Pitching was a little better but the entire team can’t hit lefties consistently. That’s why so many first pitch strikes, leaving RISP, etc

I agree. I know people are being negative around here, but the pitching is better. I think that is more important. I am hopeful the hitting will turn it around, especially when White returns.

I’m glad you feel better after watching 3-20 with runners in scoring position.

Earlier in the year? Would never happen. Never.

Agreed.

It’s funny watching the doom and gloomers run around losing their minds though.

Me too, pitching looks a lot better. Their confidence is up.
Thank goodness they aren't as stupid as some of our little pussy arse "fans".

A team full of .300 hitters will go 3/20 or worse about 11% of any given 20 AB stretch. It happens.

We’re not putting it altogether lately, but 6 runs a game would have us 3-0 right now. I’m not worried about this team’s ability to hit.
