eh really they just need any degree to get a job somewhere in Louisiana. He should have no problem finding a good sales job

College athletes were not looking at 20 million dollar signing bonuses 20 years ago either.
Gas was under a dollar a gallon 20 years ago too. So inflation is a thing. What’s your point?

I agree with you but LSU has a huge networking system, he'll be ok.

I don’t understand. There must be an underlying issue there. I think nick could have been a rb as good as Charles Scott or Ridley if he was given the ball. It’s almost like we didn’t want him to run. Even though he always made plays when giving the ball.

remember that time he fumbled against troy?

The dude had an amazing HS career, a good SR year after a surgery, and has a chance to get 1,000 at the bowl game. With a decent 40 at the pro day he'll get a cup of coffee somewhere. There's now NFL, CFL, XFL, and AAF so if he really wants to play again he will.

no where near as consequential as Quinn's drops v. bama

So a coach isn't overrated because he hired and ran an ancient offense?
I don't think CEH means what you think it means

Serious question. Few people are able to take a full load of courses in a difficult field like engineering or science and also put in the 40 or more hours a week needed to be a successful athlete, which is why most athletes don't complete their degrees in a marketable field. Once they complete their eligibility, does LSU and other universities cover expenses for an additional year or two of study so they can obtain a "real" degree and position themselves for success after sports?

not really

most full scholarship athletes have their "curriculum" plotted out for them as long as they have eligibility, they don't register, wait in lines, or get books/supplies for classes among other things

Athletes take summer courses, and can be here for 5 years. If they get hurt they can even have 6. Now we all know most athletes aren't Pre Med. But Eddie Furniss is a doctor, Mauck a dentist, and most of y'all don't see it as "real" but Education is something there's always a need for.
Athletes lives are impacted greatly by the coaches they had growing up. They know about competing at high levels, and can relate to many students struggles.

Love Brossette but speed is not his thing.

You are absolutely correct! If he gets 999 yards this season it would be a shame..... Let' hope not - for his sake! That would haunt me forever..... Still funny! Good one

I like the kid too! Not many players would wait around several years to get their chance to shine, but he did and I think that says volumes about the type of person he is! I would love for someone in the NFL to give him a tryout and somehow make a squad!
